Good morning. We need to learn to choose our words carefully when we’re talking to God. He holds us accountable when we tell Him what we are going to for Him. Sometimes we make vows and promises to God because it sounds good, but we never think what’s it going to cost to keep our word to Him until after we’ve made the vow or promise. Just like we expect God to keep His promises to us, He expects us to keep our promises to Him. So, whatever we’ve promised Him, it’s time to make good on that promise. God don’t like liars. In fact, He said; a liar won’t even tarry in the sight of God. In other words, God doesn’t want us in His face if we’re lying to Him. If we can’t be in the face of God, that means we can’t be in His presence and if we can’t be in the presence of God, that means we are left uncovered. When we are left uncovered, it’s easy for us to be offered up to Satan and he will have his way with us. We cannot afford to be offered up to Satan. So again, let’s keep our promises and vows to the Lord.
Proverbs 20:25
Don’t trap yourself by making a rash promise to God and only later counting the cost.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing
