Always Remember

Good morning. When the storms of life come upon us, we need to remember the mighty works of God. When we’re faced with impossible situations, we need to remember, this isn’t the first time we’ve needed God to intervene on our behalf. When all hope seems to be gone, we need to recall to our minds that God is still in the miracle working business. When justice seems to allude us, we need to know that, God is the final judge and he will deal justice as he sees fit, even if we don’t understand it or agree with it. There is no failure in God.

Psalms 105:5
Remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given,

Brag On God

Good morning. If there were ever a time to brag on God, now is that time. We need to tell the world, how God has kept our minds when we know some of us should be in a straight jacket rocking back and forth. We need to tell the world, how God has provided for us when we didn’t know how bills would be paid and food would be on the table. We need to tell the world, how God has delivered us, saved us, snatched us out of Satan’s camp and cleansed us from all unrighteousness. When we begin to brag on God, we won’t have time to complain.

Psalms 105:1-2
Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.

Accept The Joy Of Forgiveness

Good morning. We all know what it feels like to mess up really bad and the Lord still forgives us. By society standards, we should be down for the count with no chance to recover. But, by the Lord’s standards; all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. When we’ve found ourselves in a fallen state, repent! We have to stop living by the ways of the world and live by the ways of the word.

Psalms 32:1-2
Oh, what joy for those
whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those
whose record the LORD has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

Don’t Waste Your Time

Good morning. Why do we waste our time praying to a God we won’t trust, follow or obey? We call him Lord then treat him likes he’s an ordinary man. God doesn’t want or need our lip service. God desires our heart. If our heart isn’t in it, we’re still lost. Don’t go to hell by way of the church. If you’re not going to trust, follow or obey God, go to hell wide-open. Do everything you think of in your mind. However, if you want eternal life, make up in your mind today; no more lip service. I’m giving Jesus my heart.

Luke 6:46
“So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say?

It’s In My Heart

Good morning. If you really want to know what’s in a person, listen to their heart, for what’s in their heart will flow out their mouth. We can’t change what’s in a person’s heart only God can. We must check our hearts daily and ask God to purge and purify our hearts. Everything in us that’s like him we need to give it to him. We need to lay our hearts on the altar of God and let him search us. In this season many of us need spiritual heart surgery and it’s imperative that we go under God’s spiritual knife.

Luke 6:45
A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

Learn How To Treat Your Enemies

Good morning. According to the Bible we have been treating our enemies wrong. We’ve been hating them and talking about them. We’ve been seeking revenge and wishing death on them. All the while, we should be loving them and lending them what they need. If we really want to be Christ-like, we should start living the whole word and not just the parts we like. This passage of scripture is truly an attitude changer. It describes us in our sinful state and how the Lord loved us through it all.

Luke 6:35
“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.

Love Thy Enemy

Good morning. One of the most challenging things to do in life, is to treat people with love and kindness when we know they are deliberately trying to ruin our lives. However, we must do it anyways and do it without complaining. If we think about it, at some point in our lives we’ve treated Jesus the same way. We despitefully used him. We’ve prayed Lord if you do this for me I’ll serve you; as soon as he did it, we forgot about him. We’ve cursed him. As soon as things didn’t go our way, we acted like Satan is our father and did things the world’s way. And, despite all of this, Jesus died for you and me. Despite all of this, Jesus said; I love you unconditionally. Therefore, we are without an excuse why we can’t do as the Lord commanded us to do; Love thy enemy.

Luke 6:27-28
“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.

Mind Your Own Business

Good morning. We don’t need to be worried about what other people are doing, especially when it comes to their spiritual growth. We all will have that moment in our lives when we don’t feel Jesus, hear Jesus or understand what he’s doing. That’s when our spiritual growth will shift and we begin to operate differently in the spirit. Until then, we need to take our eyes off people and keep them stayed on the Lord. In other words, we need to mind our own business.

Luke 5:33-35
One day some people said to Jesus, “John the Baptist’s disciples fast and pray regularly, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees. Why are your disciples always eating and drinking?” Jesus responded, “Do wedding guests fast while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. But someday the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.”

Stop Evangelizing The Saved

Good morning. Jesus knew who he was and he knew his purpose. He wasn’t too good to eat and hang with bad people. He knew he had the power of persuasion and that no one could turn him around. The problem with Christians is that we keep trying to evangelize people who have already accepted Christ. Jesus came for the lost and lowly. We keep going to the found and high-minded. If we really want to be like Jesus, we will go to the highways and hedges and tell lost people about the one and only true God that can save their sin sick souls. Let’s stop missing opportunities to tell a dying world about a Savior that can give them everlasting life.

Luke 5:30-32
But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus’ disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with such scum?”
Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”

I Can Do Without The Fame

Good morning. As powerful as Jesus is, he never wanted fame or a pat on the back. He did what God sent him to do and then retreated to prayer. Most of the times, we get upset when no one acknowledges what we’ve accomplished and after many of our accomplishments, we look for people to celebrate us. Jesus teaches us that we should immediately get by ourselves and go into prayer after we’ve done such great things. We should began to thank God for using us, for, he could have chosen anyone else. We shouldn’t look for fame or for people to keep bragging on what we did.

Luke 5:15-16
But despite Jesus’ instructions, the report of his power spread even faster, and vast crowds came to hear him preach and to be healed of their diseases. But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.
