Conduct Yourself In The Heat Of The Moment

Good morning. When we are having a dispute with someone we should never divulge information that someone has given us in secrecy. No matter how heated we are in the moment we must remember that a soft answer turns away wrath, and that loose lips sinks ships. Even if we know we’re right our main goal should be to try and win the other person to Christ. We have to decide what’s more important; being right or winning souls. The only thing that matters is how we conduct ourselves in the heat of the moment. God knows the truth and truth will always prevail.

Proverbs 25:9-10
When arguing with your neighbor, don’t betray another person’s secret. Others may accuse you of gossip, and you will never regain your good reputation.

Watch Your Attitude About Helping Other

Good morning. Whenever we’re helping someone out we shouldn’t broadcast it. God see’s our acts of kindness and he has a reward for us. However, if we won’t our reward right now then by all means we should let everyone know what we are doing to help others, embarrass those we are helping by spreading the plight of their misfortune and act like the world acts when they help out others; this is the best way to be rewarded down here. If we’re going to help someone then we need to do just that and be quiet. If we’re going to complain because we’ve helped them, we’re better off doing nothing. God can use anyone to do his work. We need to be thankful that he chose us to do a work for him and that he has us in a position to help others out.

Matthew 6:1-4
“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

Brag On God Not On Yourself

Good morning. There’s no need to boast about anything except that we know God is the King of kings and Lord of lords. We can brag on God and let people know it’s because of His mercy that we are not consumed. We can tell the world if it had not been for the Lord on our side we’d be in a devil’s hell. We can tell the world of the Savior’s unfailing love for us, how He loved us when we didn’t love ourselves. That’s the only thing we should ever boast about. When we take the focus off ourselves and place it solely on the Lord, that’s how we lift our Savior up and draw all men unto Him.

Jeremiah 9:23-24
This is what the LORD says:
“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the LORD, have spoken!

God Is A Promise-Keeper

Good morning. Whatever promises God has made to us we can count on them coming to past. God is a promise-keeper. No matter how long it takes for us to see the promise know that it’s coming. Not only is God a promise-keeper he’s also a burden-bearer. We don’t have to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, we can give everything over to the Lord and let him be the heavy-lifter and carry the load. Many burdens we carry because we don’t trust God wholeheartedly; it’s when we learn to trust God in every area of our lives that worry, doubt and fear are cast out.

Psalms 145:13-14
For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.
You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does. The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.

God Got Us

Good morning. When we feel like we’re going under because of the cares of this world it’s alright to cry out to God. When we feel like no one understands what we are going through it’s alright to cry out to the Lord. God is a very present help in the time of trouble. Whatever we’re dealing with we need to give it to the Lord. He will give us hope for our doubt, comfort for our fears and he’ll turn our mourning into dancing. Therefore, we can trust God wholeheartedly because his unfailing love will hold us in the darkest of times.

Psalms 94:17-19
Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave.
I cried out, “I am slipping!”
but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

Don’t Bow

Good morning. No matter what we are facing, we can never serve another god. No matter what it looks like, we can never bow to the gods of this world. We have to stand firm in our faith. We know that God is a deliverer, a redeemer, a healer, a way-maker, a miracle worker, a promise keeper and I AM. We know that God will show up in his timing and he’s always in control. So we don’t have to defend ourselves against the evilness of this world; all we have to do is stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

Give Them Jesus

Good morning. Satan will do anything to keep unbelievers from grabbing hold of the gospel. That’s why we must earnestly pray for them and continue to share the good news with them. It is important that we live the life we’re telling unbelievers about in the Bible. People are hurting and searching for something or someone to believe in. Why not give them the True and Living God. Why not show them what true living is. When our lifestyles don’t line up with the word of God our witness is not effective and we give unbelievers excuses why they should remain on the side on the devil.

2 Corinthians 4:4
Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Money Won’t Get Us Into Heaven

Good morning. No matter how much money we have it can’t save us. Our money means nothing when we stand before the Lord and give an account for all that we’ve done. We can’t bribe God or buy our way into heaven. The Bible declares we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service. The only thing that can save us is our faith and belief in Jesus Christ; without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Proverbs 11:4
Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death.

Don’t Go On A Fool’s Errand

Good morning. Before we start murmuring and complaining and questioning God, we better have our facts straight. When we find ourselves in situations we have to be mindful who we allow in our ear. We can’t keep listening to what everyone is saying, we have to hear from God. Listening to crowd will have us talking out of turn and questioning God’s wisdom; we will be on a fool’s errand. The best thing for us to do is to seek the Lord while he may be found, humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and learn to wait on him no matter how long it takes.

Job 38:1-6
Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind: “Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone

It Is Well

Good morning. Do you enjoy the fruits of your labor? Do you even like your job? It’s great when we can have a job we enjoy doing and enjoy the benefits of getting a paycheck. We aught to thank God daily for his provisions and for the life he’s given us. All of our lives are different but as the song writer said; whatever my lot is thou has taught me to say it well with my soul. When we know that God is in control we can enjoy life, keep pressing forward and not look back. We can enjoy all the things he’s given us, he’s doing for us and all the things he’s allowing us to experience.

Ecclesiastes 5:18-20
Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.
