Don’t Be On Satan’s Roll-Call

Good morning. Whenever we work we want to get paid what we’re owed. We don’t work for free because that would mean we’re volunteers. We should apply this same principle to our daily lives. Our behavior will dictate what punishment we’re owed. And if we’re volunteering to sin then we’re volunteering to be on Satan’s roll-call. Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Lord Is Watching

Good morning. The Lord watches everything we do. We cannot hide anything from him. People may not always be around us but the eyes of the Lord are everywhere. We should never think that we’re getting away with anything. We should always keep in mind that the Lord watches over the good and bad and that we will be held accountable.

Proverbs 15:3
The LORD is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good.

Rejoice, Be Patient & Keep Praying

Good morning. There’s no need to worry about anything. We can rejoice in the hope of Christ Jesus for he died that we may have eternal life. When trials and tribulations land on our doorstep we can be patient and know that it’s only a matter of time before God delivers us. So never stop praying. Never stop seeking the Lord. David said; I called on the Lord and he heard my cry. God sees us and he hears us, so what are we showing him and what are we saying?

Romans 12:12
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.

Don’t Complain In Your Suffering Season

Good morning. Suffering is a part of walking with Jesus. We cannot think that we can claim to be his child and Satan will just leave us alone. Don’t complain in your season of suffering for God will strengthen you and restore you. Besides, whatever it is we’re going through is but a light affliction.

1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

Let Your Faith Override Your Fear

Good morning. Are you pleasing to God? Do you have faith or is your faith failing? The Bible declares without faith we are not pleasing to God. There’s no need to be under attack from the enemy, not have faith and not please God. We had to have faith to believe he’s the Christ and the Saviour of the world, so why not have faith that he can bring us out of any situation. Activate your faith on today. Our faith has to override our fear.

Hebrews 11:6
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

You’re Tongue Can Be Hurtful

Good morning. The Bible declares that no one can tame the tongue. Nonetheless, this doesn’t give us the right to speak any and everything that’s on our mind for we will give an account for every idle word. We have to learn how to watch what we say because we can start many fires with our tongue. The tongue can be so hurtful when we let anything come out our mouths and remember once we’ve said it we can’t take it back. Therefore, we must be mindful that we don’t blow our witness because of our tongue. We may be the only bible somebody reads.

James 3:6-8
And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison.

Pray For Your Enemies

Good morning. One of the hardest things to do is pray for someone who has wronged us. Society will tell us we have the right to not fool with these people anymore and we have the right to curse them out. As children of God we don’t follow what society says and react the way they do, we are to respond the way our Father has taught us. No matter what the other person has done, we are to put them before the Lord and ask God to bless them. The Bible declares when our ways please the Lord even our enemies will be at peace with us.

Romans 12:14
Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.

We’ve Been Forgiven

Good morning. The way to be set free from sin is to trust Jesus Christ to take it away. Jesus is the only one who forgives our sins and makes us right with God. When Jesus forgives our sins our record is wiped cleaned. He drops all charges against us. When we trust in Jesus, and abide in him and stand firm on his word, it empowers us to live the way he desires us to live. So stop thinking Jesus is like man in that he holds grudges and he forgives and not forgets. We’ve been forgiven now let’s walk in the newness if Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1:22-23
Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.

Don’t Let Nobody Turn You Around

Good morning. Who or what has us thinking differently about Jesus death on the cross for our sins? We know if it had not been for the shedding of the blood there would be no remission of sins. We cannot get so caught up in this life that we let worldly ideas and worldly ways lead us astray and have us questioning Jesus’ death. We know who Jesus is. We know what Jesus can do. We know when Jesus left he sent us the Holy Spirit. So shouldn’t no one be able to fool us into thinking differently about Jesus. As the seasoned saints use to say; you can’t me me doubt him, I know too much about him.

Galatians 3:1-2
Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross. Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law of Moses? Of course not! You received the Spirit because you believed the message you heard about Christ.

Don’t Envy Sinners

Good morning. I know it seems like sinners have a lot of fun and they don’t have any problems. That’s just a smoke screen and we shouldn’t envy their lifestyles. God has a great reward for us in heaven, we just have to keep the faith and hold on to his unchanging hand.

Proverbs 23:17-18
Don’t envy sinners,
but always continue to fear the LORD. You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed.
