Don’t Miss Your Time Or Chance

Good morning. The Bible declares time and chance happens to us all and many times we’ve heard people say; “I was just in the right place at the right time”. As I ponder on that statement I find that when we are in right relation with God he will place us right where we need to be at the time we need to be there. It has absolutely nothing to do with our wealth, education, talent or strength. Therefore, be on the lookout for your chance and opportunity. Don’t let opportunities pass you by. You don’t know if God will grant you another opportunity or if life will take a sudden turn and bring hard times and tragedy.

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12
I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

Accept What God Allows

Good morning. Never forget what you are going through God allowed it to be so. He knows what he’s placed on the inside of you. He knows what needs to come out of you. Nothing just happens. If Satan is wreaking havoc in your life know that he had to go to God to get permission and God gave him the parameters in which he can operate. Satan can do no more or no less than what God allows. So go through the test and trial and rejoice because in the end we win.

Job 1:9-12
Satan replied to the LORD, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” “All right, you may test him,” the LORD said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the LORD’s presence.

Don’t Miss Out On Your Reward

Good morning. We’ve come too far to let someone turn us around now. We’ve had too many encounters with the Lord for someone to make us doubt him. Holdfast to what you know about the Lord. Stay in the word of God, so when false teachers come your spirit will immediately reject them. We are running this race to receive our reward and our reward is in heaven. Don’t get caught up in this world and miss out on everything you’ve worked for. Make sure you’re anchored in God and that your anchor holds.

2 John 1:7-9
I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world. They deny that Jesus Christ came in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward. Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.

Humble Yourself

Good morning. It’s better to be humble than to be proud, for God calls pride an abomination. The Bible declares God resist the proud and give grace to the humble. We all need God’s grace in these last and evil days. If you’re having a hard time humbling yourself tell God all about it. It’s better to talk to him about your struggles before he has to humble you. For when God humbles you not a prayer in the world can help you.

1 Peter 5:6
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

Rescued

Good morning. Have you ever needed to be rescued from something or someone? Did it feel good when you were finally out of the situation? Sometimes we may find ourselves in situations and we need someone to help us out of them and when they arrive we are so glad they showed up. We can be stuck on the side of the road, caught in a stopped elevator, in a bad accident, etc… Jesus died so that we can be rescued from this world; for we are just strangers passing through. We should be rejoicing that we have an escape plan in place. When the time comes Jesus will lead the way out.

Galatians 1:4
Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live.

A Reverential Fear And Holy Living

Good morning. The Bible declares the promises of God are yes and amen. We can rejoice over that because if God promised us something it will come to past. While we’re waiting on the promise let’s live holy. Holiness is right in the sight of the Lord and the Bible declares to be holy for holiness without shall no man see the Lord. We should have a reverential fear of God and be so concerned with the things of God that we hate the very things that he hate.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

Salvation Is A Gift

Good morning. Had it not been for God’s grace where would we be? When we first believed he saved us by his grace. Salvation is a gift from God. We can’t earn it, we can’t work for it, therefore, we can’t take credit for the gift that God has given us. Give God all the glory, honor, and praise that’s do his name because without him we are nothing; without him we are like a ship without a sail.

Ephesians 2:8-9
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Examine Yourself Before It’s Too Late

Good morning. Let us not think that we can keep sinning and not suffer consequences. When punishment comes don’t get mad just repent and turn back to God. God doesn’t automatically forgive us of our sins we have to ask him for forgiveness. Stop fooling yourself thinking you’re perfect and without sin. Be for real with yourself and confront the rebel inside of you. Thank God that he didn’t destroy you in your rebellion against him and that he’s giving you time to examine your ways before it’s too late.

Lamentations 3:39-42
Then why should we, mere humans, complain when we are punished for our sins? Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the LORD. Let us lift our hearts and hands to God in heaven and say, We have sinned and rebelled,
and you have not forgiven us.

Do A Self-Examination

Good morning. When was the last time you took a self-examination? Was your faith solid and genuine? Or did you find that you’ve been wavering in your faith? When we examine ourselves and find that we lack the very things we need for this Christian journey, we have to be real with Jesus and ask him for the very things we lack and it starts with faith. There is no way we can walk this Christian journey without faith. For the Bible declares without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

2 Corinthians 13:5-6
Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith. As you test yourselves, I hope you will recognize that we have not failed the test of apostolic authority.

Live By The Spirit

Good morning. Are you living by the spirit? If so, have you given Jesus all of your sinful desires? We must let go of our worldly ways and be led by the Spirit. It’s time out for excuses on why our behavior is not modeled after the word. It’s time to surrender every area of our lives to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our souls are at stake and we can no longer afford to keep playing games and taking our salvation for granted.

Galatians 5:24-26
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.
