Beware Of People Falsely Representing The Gospel

Good morning. After we’ve tried God and found out that’s he’s a man of his word, how do we let someone convince us otherwise? We have to beware of false teachers, preachers, and prophets. If someone is coming to us and not speaking of Jesus death, burial, and Ressurection than they are falsely representing the gospel. Don’t let anyone fool you when you know the truth.

Galatians 3:1-2
You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?

Real Friends Confront Sin

Good morning. It’s good to have friends that don’t mind letting us know when we’re walking in sin. We shouldn’t get offended when they come to us and confront us. We should rejoice that they love us so much, that they don’t want to see the hand of God taken off our life. If you have a true friend that values your soul over your friendship; nurture that friendship, cultivate that friendship, because friends don’t let friends stay on a road to destruction.

Matthew 18:15
“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.

Wait Patiently

Good morning. Waiting on the Lord is not easy. We become restless, impatient, and often times we try to speed up the process thinking we’re helping him out, when we’re actually delaying the process. God will not answer us one second before he’s ready. We’ve all heard the saying; “good things comes to those who wait”. Well when reading the Bible we find that blessings comes to those who are patient. David waited patiently and was pulled out of the pit, his feet were set on a rock, he had a firm place to stand, and a new song of praise was placed in his mouth. Just imagine what will happen when we wait patiently on the Lord.

Psalms 40:1-4
I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the slimy pit,out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him. Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.

Consider What God Has Done

Good morning. God allows good and bad times to come to everyone. When things are good we tend to forget about God. When things go bad, we tend to say Lord why me. When things are good in our life we should not get so comfortable to the point we stop seeking God, praying and reading the word. God blends the bad and good times in our life so that we cannot predict what’s going to happen in our life. God has a way to let us know that he’s in control.

Ecclesiastes 7:13-14
Consider what God has done:
Who can straighten what he has made crooked? When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.

Count Your Blessings

Good morning. Why complain about the negative things going on in our lives when we be thankful for all of the good things.m? We have plenty of things to thank God for. He forgives our sins, heals our diseases, redeems us from death, showers us with love and compassion, gives us the desires of our heart and gives us righteousness and justice. No matter how difficult our life’s journey may become, we can always count our blessings.

Psalms 103:1-5
Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Jesus Is The Answer

Good morning. After we’ve tasted and seen that the Lord is good, why go back to our worldly ways? Why be slaves to sin and gods we don’t even know, when we can be slaves of the most high God? The world has nothing to offer us. We have everything we need in God. No matter what happens in our life we must stick with God. No matter what trials and tribulations we face, we must stick with God. Jesus is the answer for the world today.

Galatians 4:8-9
Before you Gentiles knew God, you were slaves to so-called gods that do not even exist. So now that you know God (or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world?

Press On

Good morning. Have you ever gone through anything and the people watching assumed you were out for the count? They assumed that you would never recover from your situation and counted you out. But, God had a remnant of people praying for you and surrounding you with love and compassion that the other people couldn’t see. And after while you recovered and continue to do a work for the Lord. I just want to encourage you to keep pressing toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.

Acts 14:19-20
Then some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowds to their side. They stoned Paul and dragged him out of town, thinking he was dead. But as the believers gathered around him, he got up and went back into the town. The next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.

Restoration After Loss

Good morning. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. He knows what to take from us to get our attention and to get us back in line. When we learn our lesson and remember we serve the true and living God, he knows how to restore us and allows us to recover all. We should not dwell on what we’ve lost, but we should be focused on what lesson God wants us to learn from our dilemma.

Joel 2:25-27 NLT
The LORD says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you. Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the LORD your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced. Then you will know that I am among my people Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and there is no other.
Never again will my people be disgraced.

Don’t Get Discouraged Keep Praying

Good morning. It may seem like the more we pray, the worst our situation becomes. Or, sometimes we may feel like our prayers are not being heard by God. We must remember that when we pray our prayers are heard by heaven and hell, and Satan will do any and everything to stop the answer to our prayers from reaching us. Don’t stop praying, don’t stop seeking the Lord, don’t stop believing, because no devil in hell can stop what God has for you and me.

Daniel 10:12-13
Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.

Money Is Our Resource, God Is Our Source

Good morning. The Bible declares money answers all things. It also declares we shouldn’t love money. There’s nothing wrong with having money, seeking promotions, or making sound financial decisions to live the lifestyle we’ve become accustomed too. The problem is when all we think about is money; and how can we get more, and how can we stockpile it and take God out of the equation. When we begin to think we’re self-made and that we no longer need God because we got money, we’ve crossed the line. We must remember the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. He has always been our source and provided us with resources.

Hebrews 13:5-6
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,”Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
