Don’t Reject God

Good morning. God’s will for us is to live holy. The Bible declares to be holy therefore I am holy and holiness without shall no man see the Lord. While so many people want to be happy, no one is wanting to live holy. When we don’t live holy we disobey God. Disobedience robs us of our blessings and ultimately eternal life.

1 Thessalonians 4:7-8
God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

Think Before You Speak

Good morning. The next time we want to complain, we ought to think about the punishment Jesus endured for our sins. The next time we want to say life isn’t fair, we ought to think about an unjust system that crucified our Lord. The next time we want to say people are fake and don’t show up for us, we ought to think about how we continuously turn our back on Jesus. When we realize the magnitude of Jesus suffering for us it ought to make us shut-up and repent.

Isaiah 53:3-5 (NLT)
He was despised and rejected a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

We Got One Shot At This

Good morning. Jesus took our place by taking our sins upon him. He gave us the chance of a lifetime. This is our one and only shot to make it to heaven, let’s not waste it.

2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

I Once Was Lost

Good morning. For those of us that have accepted Christ, we know what it is to be lost and then found. When a sinner turns from their wicked ways and confess Jesus the angels rejoice. They are overjoyed because someone decided to live and not die. We should rejoice as well instead of putting people down for living in Christ Jesus. We shouldn’t continue to throw in their face that they were once lost; Jesus doesn’t throw out past in our face.

Luke 15:7
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

All Nations Will Experience The Day Of The Lord

Good morning. Will we be ready when Jesus calls our name or when he returns? This is a question we must ask ourselves daily. The Chicago Mass choir sung a song entitled ” I pray we all be ready”. God loves us so much that he’s allowing us time to get ready. For the Bible’s declares that warning comes before destruction. Prepare to meet the Lord now while you have a chance.

Obadiah 1:15 The day of the Lord is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.

Trouble Will Reveal What’s On The Inside

Good morning. Trouble allows us to know what’s really inside of us. It will reveal our character, our integrity or lack there of, and our fear. So, when trouble comes we will act like who we really are.

Proverbs 24:10
If you falter in a time of trouble,
how small is your strength!

Prepare To Give An Account

Good morning. Contrary to popular belief God is huge on accountability. I know we like to say; I’m grown, and can’t nobody tell me what to do. That’s neither true on earth or when we stand before the Lord. No matter how grown we are we still have to give an account to someone. Whether it’s our boss, spouse, the government, our many organizations we are apart of, and ultimately God. Not only will saints have to give an account but sinners will too.

Romans 14:11-12
It is written:”As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Do We Want Wages or Do We Want The Gift

Good morning. Whenever we go to work we expect for our jobs to pay us our wages. In fact, if our wages are wrong we go and rectify the problem because we’ve worked hard to earn a living. In reading the scriptures, the Bible declares the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is everlasting life. In this world people will choose to have wages over gifts. But, we are not of this world so we have a choice to make. Do we want to receive wages or do we want to receive the gift?

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Push Through

Good morning. No matter what you’re going through push through it. The Bible declares that this is but a light affliction and that you’re blessed when you persevere through trials. When it’s all said and done you will receive your crown. So hold on and see what the ends going to be.

James 1:12
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Everything Should Point Back To God

Good morning. God is going to deliver all who puts their trust in him and take refuge in him. When we speak to our relatives, friends, co-workers, etc., and they began to speak fear and doubt; we cannot agree with them. We have to let them know about the God we serve. We must urge them to get a relationship with Jesus. In this season we are in everything must lead back to Jesus. We don’t have to worry about the wicked for God will take care of them. We just have to keep our focus on the Lord.

Psalms 37:39-40
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
