We Need Each Other

Good morning. When we work together and have the same mind things turn out better. While this world stresses me, myself, and I mentality; the Bible stresses we need each other to survive. There will come a time in our life that we will need a prayer partner. There will come a time in our life where we will need someone to help us lift Jesus. We cannot go at life alone. We will find out real soon that being a lone island will keep us down and in distress.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Be Still

Good morning. Contrary to popular belief God doesn’t need our help. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He knows who he is and what he can do. We don’t have to be busybody’s and meddle in his affairs. The more we try to help him we mess things up. He wants us to be still and watch him work.

Psalms 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Can God Count On You

Good morning. After God has delivered you can he count on you? Many times we pray; Lord use me for the up-building of your kingdom. When we pray that prayer are we really wanting to be used or does it just sound good to us at that moment? Our daily desire should be to do whatever God wants us to do. That means giving him complete control over our lives. That also means not trying to justify why we’re cutting corners, or why we haven’t given him a complete yes. If we’re ever going to live our best life the only way to do it is in obedience to Christ. Anything short of that we’re fooling ourselves, and we know everybody plays the fool sometimes.

Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? ” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Don’t Get Happy When Your Enemies Fall

Good morning. It’s natural for us to want to see our fall and meet their demise. However, we shouldn’t rejoice in their fall no matter how bad they’ve treated us, because this displeases the Lord. It’s not God’s will that any of us shall perish but that we all have eternal life. Besides, we must not think that we are not anyone’s enemy. The mere fact that we claim to be Christians makes us enemies with the world.

Proverbs 24:17-18 Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall; don’t be happy when they stumble. For the Lord will be displeased with you and will turn his anger away from them.

Don’t Steal From God

Good morning. God has been so good to us and has blessed us beyond measure. With the same blessings he’s given us we are to return ten-percent back to him. The more he gives the more we return. It’s not wise to try and cheat God for he knows everything. When we fail to pay our tithes and give an offering the Bible says we are robbers and thieves. When was the last time you stole from God? Do you like walking around being cursed? There are blessings in paying tithes and the blessings are not always monetary. The Bible declares that God will rebuke the devour for our sakes. The devour could be anything that’s trying to hinder or block us(our health, our children’s sanity, promotions, etc.,) Give God what’s his before he takes all you have.

Malachi 3:8-11 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

A Chance To Get It Right

Good morning. While we still have time we need to repent. No one knows the day, hour, minute, or second when they will take their last breath. Jesus is not like man, he’s ready and willing to forgive us. The Lord wants our heart not our lip-service. We can’t say Lord I’m sorry and keep doing him wrong. We need to be genuinely sorry and ask God to help us keep away from sin. If you knew today you would have to stand before the Lord would you live any different? In actuality this is a dress rehearsal down here and we stand before him daily. Therefore we must live our lives as if we’re going to see him today. I cannot express this enough; if you die and go to hell it’s your fault.

Joel 2:12-14 (NLT) That is why the Lord says,”Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish. Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve, sending you a blessing instead of this curse. Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine to the Lord your God as before.

Are You Plotting or Planning?

Good morning. Are you plotting or planning? When we plot to do wrong to others or with others, we have stepped out of the will God. We must be careful that our motives are always pure. Just because someone does us wrong doesn’t give us the right to plot for revenge. It gives us a right to plan for their deliverance. Our plan should be to pray for them and their family. I’ve learned to pray for my enemies what I want for myself and my family. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it. You must ask yourself; is anyone worth me getting out of the will of God? If they are, continue to plot but, if they aren’t and you value your relationship with God then press on with your plan.

Proverbs 14:22 Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.

The Lord Is

Good morning. God is the creator of all things. Without him we are nothing. Without him we could do nothing. If you ever have questions of why something is or isn’t you need to go back to the creator and ask. I know people say we are not to question God and that’s false. If you never question him how would you get any answers? God isn’t shallow and he doesn’t wear his feelings on his sleeves. He can handle anything we ask him and he won’t get offended.

Acts 17:28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

Stop Being Concerned About My Past

Good morning. People will always remember your past and that’s not always a bad thing. Your past is a reference for who you were before Christ entered your life. Your present serves as proof that God can forgive and cleanse anyone, and use them for his glory. So don’t get mad when people bring your past up. All they are really saying is; God brought you from a mighty long way.

Acts 9:19-22 and after taking some food, he regained his strength. Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. All those who heard him were astonished and asked, “Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?” Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.

Why Should God Forgive Us?

Good morning. God can and does get tired of us. He supplies all of our needs and how do we show him our appreciation? He keeps our children and what have we taught our children about God? We knowingly do wrong then ask for forgiveness, and God wants to know why should he forgive us. Have we given God a reason to forgive us? Or, have we given God a reason to condemn us?

Jeremiah 5:7-9 “Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes. They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for another man’s wife. Should I not punish them for this?” declares the Lord. “Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?
