Many people think being single is a bad thing and it’s not. Being single allows you to explore who you really are and it allows you to get closer to God. All of your friends may be married or getting married, and this is a time of rejoicing for them. So be happy for them and still celebrate the place you’re in.
When you’re single you don’t have any relationship drama. You’re not trying to be private-eye. You fix yourself up for you. You spend your money the way you want to. You don’t have to confer with another person about decisions you want to make. This is all a plus if you ask me.
Instead of complaining about being single, or trying to rush into a relationship so that everyone can stop asking you; when are you getting married. Ask yourself what is the reason I want to be in a relationship, why do I want to get married. If you can honestly answer those questions without lust being a factor then go for it. If it’s just to have sex, to marry rather than burn; then ask yourself what are you going to do in the relationship once the thrill is gone.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
