Many people have the wrong expectations when they have a job. They expect their job to comfort them, provide them with friendship, and be their partying buddy. The only expectation you should have of your job is to get paid every two weeks. If this is not happening then you have a legitimate complaint. If you gain all of these other expectations then that’s a bonus.

On the flip side; your job should expect you to come to work on time, actually do what they hired you for, and call when you can’t make it. When this happens everyone is happy.

Although we love our family members to pieces we have to stop enabling them in their strongholds. We have to learn how to take our hands off of them and allow God’s hands to work on them. It’s easier said than done but, it’s necessary if they’re ever going to be delivered.

When someone comes to mind, take the time, pick up the phone and call them. You never know what a person is dealing with and hearing your voice could make all the difference in the world. Sometimes a text message won’t due. Before cellphones, we either called a person or went to their homes to visit. Let’s get personal and let’s start being a community again.

Real evidence appearing real (REAR). Many of us are faced with REAR right now and it has the ability to shake our faith. It doesn’t mean you don’t trust God, it means you’re looking at things as they are. Don’t get discouraged by what you see. No matter how bad it looks turn it over Jesus and let him work it out.
