When we pray and ask God to open doors for us, why do we seek conformation when he opens the door? Why do we always seek for someone else to validate or concur with what God has said? We need to learn to take God at his word ,because many of us will miss the open door waiting on people to place their stamp of approval on what God said.

Sometimes we have to take a step back and look at situations for what they are. Being too close to a situation can cloud our judgement. It’s ok to say we’ve made an error in judgment and move on from our mistakes. Taking a step back doesn’t mean you’re weak, it means you’re smart and wise.

They say laughter is good for the soul. Some people have to laugh to quit from crying. Don’t always assume that because a person is laughing that everything is alright with them. They maybe using laughter to mask the pain.

Proverbs 14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

On the mind, out the mouth. We don’t have to say everything we’re thinking. Talking too much gives the enemy an advantage over you. Study to be quiet, and let God instruct you on what to say and when to say it.

Since when did social media replace God? Many people like to air their dirty laundry to people on social media for a like. How about talking to God about everything you’re going through for a solution to your problems. Stop telling your business to people who don’t have your best interest at heart. And start talking to God The One who created you, knows all about you, and will never leave you nor forsake you.

So many people are quitting and giving up because their life isn’t a bed of roses. I’m wondering who promised them a bed of roses. I often tell my kids life isn’t fair but we have to live it. I tell them we have to make the best out of the hand we were dealt and stop complaining.

Many people haven’t been dealt a bad hand in life, they just don’t know how to play the hand they were dealt. So they begin to blame others, and never take responsibility for their own actions. The Bible tells us trials and tribulations are sure to come. So stop looking for a bed of roses, and do something about your situation.

I just want to thank God for bringing me into another year. God has just been so good. Even when I’ve had some challenging days on last year he never left me. I’m so grateful that God looked beyond my faults and saw my needs. I’m determined to keep a praise on my lips and a hallelujah in my spirit. And since I’ve made it to 2018 I’ll just say; Won’t He Do It!
