Many times we fail at things because we do things the way people want us to do them. If we ever start doing things the way God wants us to them we will do so much better. You see, God’s way doesn’t line up with mans way. Therefore, mans first instinct is to look to man and not God. We waste a lot of time and energy when we fail to seek God first, then carry out the instructions he gives us.

No matter what I’m going thru I won’t complain. God has been too good to me and my kids to start complaining. I may not have everything I desire but, I’m in a far better place than I once was. I don’t look at what other people have because, I don’t know what it cost them to get it or keep it. If you find yourself complaining; stop and look back over your life. Look how God brought you from there to here. Keep a praise on your lips and that will help you to not complain.

Do you have a dream, goal or vision for yourself? Have you been working towards fulfilling it? Are you waiting on someone else to fulfill your dreams, goals or vision? It’s time for you to write the vision then go about accomplishing the vision. When I was in the military we had a saying; no one is going to take care of you but you. So what are you waiting for? Your dreams will never come true if all you do is close your eyes and sleep on it. You have to work your dream.

If we ever needed the Lord before we sure do need him now. It’s prayer time in the land! Prayer really does change things. Even the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Th5:17).

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. No matter what the situation you’re facing looks like, speak life to it. No matter what the people around are saying, speak life to it. God works in dead situations. God moves when everyone else thinks he’s giving up on you. Don’t be discouraged. God will step in right on time. He may not come when you want him, but when he comes you will want him.

God knew exactly what we would be doing today and what time we would be doing it. He knew exactly what we would be going through on this day and time in our lives. Absolutely nothing takes God by surprise. So, instead of saying; Lord do you see, do you care about what I’m going through. We need to be saying; Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Never lose hope over the situations you find yourself in. God is a good God. God is an awesome God. God is a justGod, and God is a forgiving God.

How far will you go to make someone else happy? Have you ever thought that you would have to compromise some of your values and beliefs just to make them happy? There’s nothing wrong with wanting someone else to be happy, however; you have to count up the cost and see if you can afford their happiness.

As many years as I’ve been preaching, I don’t know what to say when someone tells me their mother or father died. Now that I’m pastoring I still don’t know. I don’t know what to say, because I’ve never experienced the hurt and void they’re experiencing.

Therefore, it’s in those times I tell them if you want to call me and rage, vent or cry I’m here to listen. No matter what time day or night. I know it isn’t much, but what do I say?

Has God promised to do something for you this year and it hasn’t happened yet? Don’t be dismayed he still has 30days left. Many people think once December hits then God is out of the blessing business; so they wait for the new year.

The good thing about God is, you can recall his word back to him and he makes sure it accomplishes what he sent it out to do.

Don’t give up on God because it’s December and you haven’t seen the promise. God can do things suddenly. Even if he waits until December 31, @11:59 to do it; he still did it this year and kept his word. God is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent.
