Waiting on the Lord can be frustrating and rewarding all at the same time. The frustration comes in when we think God should have moved on our behalf already. We begin to think what’s taking him so long. We begin to question does God even hear our prayers. We allow the enemy to creep into our minds and speak nonsense to us, and we believe it.
The rewarding part is we won’t make a move until the Lord speaks. By doing this we save ourselves a lot of heartache and heartbreak. We save ourselves from making a mess of things and paying for it dearly. Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord:
be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
