Happy Birthday to me. This is the most wonderful time of the year and the best day of the year. 42yrs ago I entered this world and I have truly been blessed. So go celebrate and have a piece of cake for me. 

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing. 

Cherish your loved ones for you never know when they will be gone forever. Family is everything no matter how you cuss, fuss, and fight; at the end of the day you are still family. Love on each other. 

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing 

God doesn’t hesitate to bless us; so why do we hesitate to praise him? We need to give God the praise do his name without hesitation. No matter where we are we cannot be ashamed to praise God. God is worthy to be praised in more places than the church. 

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing. 

Let God use you however he will. His will is what’s best for your life. Stop trying to figure out what he’s doing and just follow him. This will make your life a whole lot better.

Whenever God tells you to move or go, just do it. Don’t contemplate it. Don’t try to get confirmation. Just move. Abraham teaches us this all so well. Every time God instructed Abraham to do anything, Abraham did it without questioning God. Abraham didn’t know where he was going sometimes but God told him to go and he went. How many blessings are we missing out on because of our disobedience? It’s time to be obedient to God.

We make our lives so complicated and it doesn’t have to be. God never meant for us to have complicated lives. He intends for us to live fulfilled lives in him.

Whatever answers you need God has them. In order to get the answers you have to ask him. One thing about talking to God is, he won’t tell nobody what you asked him or what you said to him. He will lay it on other people’s heart to help you.

Waiting on something to happen or waiting on someone to come through for you can be nerve wrecking. We need the Lord to help steady us if we’re going to be patient. Although waiting is not always easy, it does help to build our character. For when we get what we’ve been waiting for we won’t waste it, or misuse it.

My children and I were driving on a road trip. My son said; I’ll drive. Quickly I replied the storm is coming, are you you sure you want to drive through the storm. He said; mom it’s just rain , I said; son the storm is coming and as we started driving the storm came in. He’s never driven through a storm so I talked him through it. Cars were stopping on the road and I said; son don’t you stop, keep going just slow down. I would tell him when to switch lanes, when to pass and when to back off. After while the storm just stopped and sun shined so brightly. My daughter said what just happened. I said the storm came but as long as you keep going the storm is bound to stop. You may be going through a storm or have a loved one going through a storm, don’t just pray for them but talk them through it.

Many times people think they have it so bad. Yesterday I spent a whole day in a part of town that people would say was the bottomless pit. There were people on the streets that many Christians would bypass. Everyone of those people had a story as to how they got there. Their dreams were to never end up on the street but life happened. So, before we start complaining we need to thank God. We may not have what we want or be where we want to be, but thank God we are not at the bottom.
