Stop expecting God to bless you the way you think he should bless. Take God out the box and watch what he does.

Stop asking God for more if you’re only going to be about me, myself and I. God gives us more to be a blessing to someone else.

Have you ever been complaining then the phone rings and it’s an opportunity? You were just complaining how things were not working out and how you hated life, then BAM opportunity knocks. We have to be careful not to speak too soon. God knows the exact moment to bless us and he hears when we’re complaining. God is so awesome he still chooses to bless us in the midst of our complaining. However, we shouldn’t take it for granted because he could say; NO  they don’t deserve the blessing right now. They need to suffer a little while longer. 

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing. 

As a human race do we stop loving people when they’ve messed up? Do we stop loving people once they’ve went to jail, stop going to church, had children out of wedlock, continue to stay in an abusive relationship? The answer is supposed to be NO, however, we tend to throw these people to the curve. Thank God we are not Jesus and thank God he loves us inspite of what we’ve done.

When someone is angry and start talking to you they don’t want your help or opinions, they just want you to hear them out. Sometimes a listening ear is all we need to be.

Graduation season is upon us and everyone is so happy. Graduates deserve their accolades and their gifts. However, there are some who should be crossing the stage this year but fail short. Don’t be discouraged. It hurts, because you know what’s inside of you. It hurts because you see your friends passing you by. Wait your turn. You didn’t pass this time, but God has an appointed time for you to accomplish all of your goals. All of my friends were graduating with honors. I was graduating on an Oh Lordy help me. They all had 3.5 and higher, however, I got the better job. It was in that moment I realized that God has everything under control and in his appointed time he opened up doors I couldn’t imagine were possible. Many of my friends went on to receive post graduate degrees. I went on to supervise everyone with a post graduate degree. Do you see how God works when you wait your turn?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. It’s a blessing to be used by God to give life.

Stop allowing someone else to control who you are. I’d never thought I’d see the day as a grown woman where so many adults are petty. They don’t want you to like someone because they don’t. Stop the madness!  I’m a people person. I talk to everyone. They haven’t done anything to me. Besides I’m a child of God and he wouldn’t want me mistreating his children. To those people who want you to do something because they do it, tell them to get a life and go live your life separated from them.

Instead of complaining you have to go to work today, give thanks for the provisions God has given. Instead of saying you hate stormy weather, think about the farmers who needed the rain. Think about the one who needed a new roof but didn’t have the money, then the storm came and the home owners insurance will pay for it. We have to change our mindsets and start thanking God more than complaining to him. Change it up and confuse the enemy.

If you’re not sure what to do in a situation keep asking God until he answers. He doesn’t always answer in a hurry. So in the meantime don’t make a move until he gives you clear instructions.
