I’m tired of pastors and preachers financing their lifestyles off the backs of the parishioners. If you have 10 members why are you trying to be a full-time pastor? Get you a job. A man that doesn’t work doesn’t eat. God may have called you to pastor and preach, but he didn’t call you to bleed the people dry of their finances. Stop making people feel like God won’t bless them if they don’t participate in the church auction. The 500 hundred dollar line or the 150 dollar line for those who don’t have the 500. Foolishness all in the name of the Lord. Now should a pastor or preacher get paid? Yes! The Bible says so; but we need to use wisdom. Instead of trying to build buildings and lifestyles, let’s build the people and watch out for their souls.
