No matter what happens on today, bless the Lord. No matter what the situation looks like, bless the Lord. No matter who tries to upset you, bless the Lord. Things could be worse than what they are and since they’re not, bless the Lord.

Do you ever find yourself in situations sometimes and you wonder how did I get here? I mean it can be a horrible place you’re in. Did you ever stop to think; God did it and not the enemy? God will allow the most horrible thing to come upon us just so he can get the glory out of our lives. This thing you’re in, God is making you and molding you. The enemy didn’t do this, God did. All you need to do is surrender to God and his will. God is breaking pride off you, unforgiveness, selfishness, lust, self-righteousness, and anything else he deems necessary.  So stop saying; Lord why me and say; Lord make me fit for the masters use.

How many times did we complain vs. how many times we thanked God today? How many times have we said we hate something that God called good? How many times did we judge someone today and none of us have a law degree? How many times have we counted someone out, when God said; they’re just getting started? How many times has God forgiven us, and we want him to burn other people at the stake? Before we go thinking we are without sin, we need to look at how many times we crucify Jesus afresh on the cross daily.

I travel all over the world for my job and get to see some really nice places of the world. On this particular trip I decided to fly my kids out so that their eyes could see what my eyes see; we get to see a glimpse of God’s imagination. My children thoroughly impressed me. Every store we went in and I bought them something they said; thank you. Every time we went to a restaurant and they ordered whatever they wanted without batting an eye at the price, they immediately said; thank you. As we were driving around they said; thank you. From the time they went to the airport and landed at this destination they knew that this was a once and a lifetime deal and that they were fortunate enough to take part in it. After a long day of activities, food and fun we came home and they presented me with my Mother’s Day gift, an Apple Watch. That’s what I’ve been wanting for the longest, that’s the only gift that I wanted. I’ve likened this experience to salvation. Jesus died for our sins and want us to serve him with an attitude of gratitude. He wants to hear us tell him; thank you. He doesn’t want to hear any murmuring or complaining. Having the opportunity to get saved and be in relationship with Jesus is a once in a lifetime deal, and when all this life is over the gift that we really want, is to hear him say; well done thy good and faithful servant.

I travel all over the world and no matter what country, what island, or what U.S. Territory I fly to; the flight attendants tell the passengers the same thing. In the event of an emergency, save yourself first before helping someone else. Put your oxygen mask on first before helping someone else. The bible tells us; before we take the mote out of our brothers eye, we need to take the beam out our own eye first. In other words, we need to get right with God before we start telling others they need to get right. What good is it to try to save the whole world and be a castaway yourself. Simply put, worry about yourself and seek your own soul salvation before it’s too late.

When we pray, we should pray expecting God to work on our behalf. Anytime we go to God we should expect an answer. Now we might not always get the answer we want, but expect something from God. We serve an enormous God and there’s nothing too hard for him. I expect a promotion. I expect for God to rebuke the devour for my sake, since I’ve been paying my tithes and offering. I expect God to keep me in good health and to prosper me, because his word says it. When we stop expecting anything from God, the enemy feels like he can run rampant in our lives. Therefore, I expect God to make my enemy my footstool.

After all you’ve been through, rejoice; for you are still standing. The divorce didn’t take you out. Being homeless or jobless didn’t cause you to quite on life. A loved one dying didn’t make you give up. By the grace of God you didn’t lose your mind, he kept you in perfect peace. Your situation may not be the ideal situation but it’s a God situation. Even while your we’re going through what you went through, you may have thought you wasn’t going to make it, but look at you now. If you’re still going through it, please be patient, God is not through with you, and know he didn’t bring you this far to leave you.

All of us need real friends. Real friends will tell us the truth. They will say; you know you too fat for that outfit, I’m scared of you. They will say; I told you not to fool with that person in the first place. They will say; I got your back, but that doesn’t mean I agree with your foolishness. To many times we want them to lie to us. We want them to say only good things to us and about us. We should want them to ruffle our feathers from time to time. Jesus is a real friend, because he has no problem telling us when we’re wrong, and he has no problem rewarding us when we’re faithful. Don’t get mad at your real friends, thank God that they love you enough to tell you what other people are thinking about you. Jesus is a friend that will stick closer than a brother, he’s already proven that he’s a ride or die.

God will work everything out. He may not work it out the way you expect him to, but he will work it out. So don’t lose anymore sleep worrying about your problems. Tell God about them and stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

When it’s all said and done; it’s not going to matter what school we went to, what job we had, who we were married to or who our kids are. When it’s all said and done; it’s not going to matter if we had money or was broke, if we were happy or sad, if we were fat or skinny. When it’s all said and done; the only thing that’s going to matter is, did we confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Did we believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. When it’s all said and done; the only thing that matters is did we live a life pleasing to God. When it’s all said and done; is God going to say; well done thou good and faithful servant or depart from me you worker of iniquity.
