Talk About The Goodness Of God

We talk about everything under the sun, why not talk about the goodness of God. On today share with someone how good God has been to you. Tell them about how you know you don’t deserve to be where you are, but God. Tell them how the enemy tried to kill you, but God. Talk about how God made a way out of no way. Talk about how when you were at your wits end, God came in and saved the day. Once you start talking about the goodness of God, the atmosphere will change around you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

What Will It Take

What will it take for us to realize that God is not playing with us? How many more people have to die in natural disasters, terrorist attacks, neighborhood shootings, cop killings, school bombings and workplace violence before we wake up and repent? If any of us have been fortunate enough to escape one of these disasters, that’s enough to know that Jesus is real. Don’t let it be said too late that you didn’t accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you bust hell wide open.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Know The Lord Will Make Away

If you’ve ever gone through something in life and came out of it; you can say without a shadow of a doubt: I know the Lord will make a way. God makes ways for us daily. When I sat down at the dinner table with my kids yesterday, I told them I just thank God how he see’s fit to bless our table every night with food. I try to make sure my kids know it’s God that’s making a way for us and not me. Yes, I have a good job, but God made the way for me to have it. I never want my kids to look at me and think my mom has it going on. I always want them to look at me and say; look at what the Lord has done in mom’s life. If it had not been for the Lord on my side where would I be. Trust and believe if God made a way for you before, he’ll make a way for you again. Trust in his word. Stand on the word of God. Pray his word back to him. God has to respond to his word.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Depression

This week I received word that someone else committed suicide in my community, this makes two in a matter of months. We just never know what someone else is dealing with. Why is it so hard for us to say a kind word to someone? Why must we always get an attitude with each other? I just want to show love and kindness as much as possible because I don’t want to be the cause of someone going over the edge. Please, if you are experiencing depression, talk to someone and know that God can fix any problem. Know that death should not be the permanent solution to your temporary problems.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Volunteering To Go In The Enemies Camp

I’m taking my daughter and grandson to the zoo and they want to go see the lions. There is a bus we are going to take to get up close to the lions. Yes, we are volunteering to go into the lions camp and get close but we’re not going to try and rub them, feed them or play with them. When we give our lives to Christ, we are volunteering to go into the enemies camp. God will put us on a mission and take us right to the enemies camp, but don’t worry he’s got it all under control. So, if you’re wondering why you’re always surrounded by the enemy, it’s because you volunteered. Don’t try to rub the enemy, pacify the enemy, or play with the enemy. The enemy is not your friend. The enemy seeks to kill, steal and destroy you. When you’re dropped off in the enemies camp, you’re there to do business. The kingdom suffered violence and the violent take it by force. Don’t be afraid of the enemy. God has given you the ability and strength to defeat the enemy.  This is the best volunteer service you’ll ever do.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Your House Is Dirty

When we go to someone’s house and they offer us something to drink or eat, we often turn them down if their house is dirty. We can be starving and our throat parched, but we are not eating or drinking nothing from that dirty house. How is it; we won’t eat or drink from no one else’s’ dirty house, but we want God to dwell in our dirty vessels. How can we say; we have the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of us and we are the nastiest Christians , most hateful Christians , and have the most unforgiving spirit? We need to do a self-inventory and ask God to clean our houses (vessels) from the inside out. Some of us got so much dirt and trash on the inside of our vessels that we need God to purge us.

Has Your Fire Died

Has your fire died since you first gave your life to Jesus? Is serving Jesus not exciting anymore? Has your spirit settled down, and now everything seems so mundane? If some of these  things are happening with you, you need to return back to your firs love. Was your first love with Jesus; praying and fasting? If so, go back to it. Was your first love with Jesus; praising and worshipping him? If so, go back to it. Was your first love love wth Jesus; just spending time in his presence? If so, go back to it. It is up to you to rekindle the fire and make the first move. No one can do this for you, for you are the only person that really knows what type of relationship and love affair you had with Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Know Jesus For Yourself

Now is not the time to just hear about Jesus, you have to know him for yourself. You have to search the scripture and ask him to give you understanding as to what the word is saying. None of us have an excuse why we don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus. I often hear people say; I can go to God for myself. That’s not really true. The bible says; Jesus is our mediator, we have to go through Jesus to get to God. We have to go through the Son to get to the Father. So we can go to Jesus and he will take it to the Father on our behalf. A relationship with Jesus is worth your time.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Jaded

Many  Christians have become jaded with church and it’s formalities. We’re tired of the same old songs and we’re tired of the umpteen offerings they have in church. We’re tired of the building fund that’s been for years, and we still don’t see a building. We’re tired of the mean ushers. We’re tired of hearing about pastors and their scandals. We’re just tired and weary. The bible says; be not weary in well doing for you shall reap of you faint not. The problem is, many of us are messy and we are not doing what we are supposed to do. We are so busy focusing on the wrong things, that we leave ourselves unguarded; and the enemy capitalizes on it. Instead of focusing on the wrong thing, we should lift our eyes to hill from whence comes our help, knowing our help comes from the Lord. The word of God is life, it shouldn’t make us weary.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I’m Celebrating With You

Yesterday my grandson and I were talking, and he asked; how old are you going to be on your next birthday. I told him 41, and he said; well this year you are not celebrating with adults only, I’m celebrating with you. Do many of us celebrate Jesus alone? Or, do we go out and ask people to celebrate Jesus with us? Psalms 34:3 says; O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together. King David wanted people to experience the goodness of God as he did. What will we do?

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
