Breaking Point

Today while on the airplane this little boy was sitting next to me along with his father. This little boy was standing and jumping in the seat, talking loud,  and his father or mother who was sitting right in front of me didn’t seem to mind. Then the little boy spilled his soda on his dad and it was on and popping. The dad had reached his breaking point and started cussing and fussing. That little boy sat down until the plane landed. Where is our breaking point with sin? At what point are we going to get made and say; enough is enough and I’m not willfully sinning anymore. We have to have a breaking point with our old sinful nature, and have a new beginning with our Heavenly Father. The Holy Spirit longs to be in fellowship with us but he won’t fight with our sinful nature.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Expect The Great

I refuse to live life as a defeated Christian. I want what the bible says I can have. I want joy, peace, health, family, wealth, right relationships, anointing, and I want to be used by God. We don’t have to walk around like we’re less than. Our father is the king of kings and Lord of lords. He has riches untold. He has all power in his hands. I expect God to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I can ask or think.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Don’t Want To Go

I travel all over the world for my job, and once again I’m about to embark on my travels. This particular time I will be gone for a long time to a beautiful place, so I decided that I would fly my kids out to see me for a few days. I already have a house for them to stay in on an island and the whole works included. After I booked their tickets, two of my children began to rebel and say; I don’t want to go, can you get your money back. I told them no, it’s all paid for. Many of us are the same way. Jesus has already paid for our sins, went and prepared a mansion for us, has everything waiting on us, and we don’t want to go. It’s evident we don’t want to go to heaven by the way we act on earth. We mistreat each other, we lie, we steal, we murder with our mouths, kill each other, destroy our bodies, etc…and these are Christians I’m talking about, not sinners. We have to make up in our minds, this is one ticket that we’re not going to let go to waste. We have an all expense paid trip to heaven, we just have to get on board.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

God’s Got It

Today I noticed my car was leaking then it started smoking. Nothing lit up on the dashboard or anything. I took my car to the shop and after I dropped it off, I just began to thank God. I thanked God for letting the car mess up with me and not my son. I thanked God for letting me have the money to fix it. I thanked God for not letting the car stop in traffic. God knew this would happen when I woke up this morning and he had the situation all under control. Whatever you’re facing on today; know that God’s got it. Know he won’t leave you or forsake. Know that he’s got your back. Know that nothing can stop you. God’s got it!!!! Just keep telling yourself this when things come up against you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Don’t Judge A Book By It’s Cover

Today I met a man who told me Harold’s Chicken was the best chicken in the world. I was taken back, because you have to be from Chicago to know about this chicken. Another young man was standing there and he tried to chime in and say; the south has the best chicken. The Indian man had to quickly correct him. I was just in awe, because this man was not from Chicago but he spent a year in Illinois. Many of us look at people and quickly sum them up without knowing who they really are, where they really come from, or what they’ve been through. They may not look like us, talk like us, smell like us,  or even act like us and we already have formed an opinion about them. I would have never thought that I’d live in Japan, meet a man from India that loves Harold’s Chicken from Chicago. When I met him, I did not expect for him to know anything about my hometown and he blew me away. Before we go judging people, we need to get to know them. After we get to know them, we still don’t have a right to judge them.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

What Will You Give

What will you give to the Lord for all he’s done for you? What will you render unto the Lord for dying for you? Will you only give him 2hrs on Sunday morning and then get mad when the preacher takes too long? Will you give him an hour  out of every day and thank him for his goodness? Will you give him a few minutes before you eat your food? As for me; I’m giving him my all. For if it had not been for the Lord who was on my side where would I be.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I’m Over It

Do people try to bring up stuff that you’re over? You’ve gotten past it, and they still want to harp on it. If you have people in your life like this, you have to learn how to shut them down in love. Let them know; I’m over it, I’ve consulted with God and he said for me to keep it moving and don’t look back. There’s no need to get mad, curse them out, or go off. Once you’ve stated this, you can move to a different subject. If they continue to persist and want to talk about the past, that’s your exit que. Remove yourself from their presence, hang up the phone, stop receiving text messages and emails from them and live your life in God. Eventually, they will realize you’re over it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

This Was Not What I Expected

Have you ever prayed for something and God answered you the total opposite of what you expected? Sometimes the answer was better than what you expected and other times you had to say; for real God, this is not what I prayed for. Nevertheless, you had no choice but to roll with God’s answer. Do you expect God to answer you the same way, in the same manner every time you pray? Sometimes we can pray about something and God will answer us in an unexpected way. We have to be on the lookout for when God speaks to us. He’s not going to keep answering us in the same way and in the same manner all the time. Because, he knows the enemy is not going to come to us in the same way and in the same manner. We have to learn how to expect the unexpected when we are dealing with God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

When God Says No

God is not punishing you by saying no. He knows what’s best for you. Why do we think that God’s only answer is yes? He told David he couldn’t build his temple because he had too much blood on his hands. If God told the apple of his eye no, what makes us think he will always tell us yes? We don’t always give our children what they want, because we know they don’t need it, or they just want it because someone else has it. So thank God for the No.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Rejoice Over What You Have

We are so busy worrying about what we don’t have, that we neglect to rejoice over what we do have. If we take a look around we have more than we think we have. I’m not just talking about material things. I’m talking about life, health, the activity our limbs, being in our right minds, food, shelter. That’s a lot. When was the last time the doctor’s deemed you mentally incapable of handling life? If they haven’t, then you ought to rejoice. When was the last time the doctor told you that your limbs are of no use to your body, therefore we must cut them off? If not, then you ought to rejoice. Even if some of these things have happened to you and you still have life, REJOICE in the Lord.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
