Eventually They Will Get It

Every morning I have to tell my son to turn that music off that he listens to. I tell him I don’t want to hear that crap the first thing in the morning. This morning when I came back from my morning workout he was blasting Tasha Cobb. I was like; thank you Lord. I told my son, I hear you in there. I don’t know if he was doing it to appease me or because he has a test to take. It doesn’t matter, as long as he started the morning with praise. I’m learning if I just live a Christ life before my kids, eventually, hopefully, prayerfully they will get it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Can’t Get Yourself Together

Many people say; I will go to church when I get myself together. If we could get ourselves together, we wouldn’t need God. The church is a spiritual hospital and all of us have some type of spiritual sickness. Since God made us, why not go back to the manufacturer and let him fix us.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Are Not God’s First Case

The situations we face are not the first time God has heard about something like this. We are not the first ones to have financial problems, marital problems, emotional problems, family problems, relationship problems, etc… God specializes in everything  so when we bring our problems to the Lord; we should trust and believe he knows exactly what to do. Our problem is; we allow our feelings to override our faith. Feelings are mobile, they’re up today, down tomorrow. They love you today and hate you next week. Our faith is solid. For it is built on the solid rock; Jesus. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. He’s not a novice at answering prayers or delivering us out of situations.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Why Should I Trust Jesus

Have you ever thought; why should I trust Jesus? If you’ve ever thought it or said it, here’s a few reasons why you should: He died for you, knowing you would turn your back on him. He continues to give you chance after chance to choose him, before he ends your life. He’s the great I AM. Demons tremble at the mention of his name. He’ll prepare a table in the presence of your enemies. He makes your enemies your footstool. When your ways please him; he’ll make your enemies to be at peace with you. He doesn’t gossip about you. When he speaks; whatever he says, comes to past. He’s not a backstabber. Most of all he loves you unconditionally.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Are You Tired Yet

In the world of victim advocacy,I understand that victims will not leave a violent situation until they are tired. No matter how tired the people around them are, victims won’t budge until they’ve had enough and that can be a long time. So I ask you; are you tired yet? Are you tired of the enemy pushing you around? Are you tired of living in lack? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? If so, do something about it. You don’t have to wait until Sunday for altar call for someone to pray for you; pray for yourself right now. You don’t have to wait for a prophet or prophetess to come to town; prophesy to yourself. You don’t have to wait for the pastor to lay hands on you; lay hands on yourself in Jesus name. You don’t have to wait for someone else to accept the call that God gave you; you accept the call and do the work. Until you get tired, you will never push forward to see what God has for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Refuse To

I refuse to serve a God that has cattle on a thousand hills; then worry about how I’m going to pay my bills. I refuse to serve a God that says; I’m the head and not the tail, then walk around in life like I have no purpose. I refuse to serve a God that has all power in his hands; then think he doesn’t have enough power to deliver my children. Either I’m going to serve God and stand on his word, or I’m going to doubt God and allow Satan to toss me to and fro with every situation that comes in my life. God has proven to us that Satan is a defeated foe, we just have to realize that when the enemy comes in like a flood; the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
