Don’t Wait

Don’t wait until God works it out, praise him and thank him now. Thank him for working on your behalf. Praise him for the past victories and present circumstances. Thank him for his love and kindness. Praise him for being God all by himself. If we waited until we got the victory to praise and thank God; some of us will be waiting a long time, because God works on his own time and it never seems to line up with our time.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Things Will Get Better

Have you ever been down so low that the only way to go was up? Things are bound to get better. No matter what we go through in life, trouble don’t last always. As long as we have God on our side, things have to get better. Things don’t have to be great to get better. Don’t lose hope and keep the faith. Remember whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

One More Chance

When I woke up this morning and found out I was not in the obituary section; I knew God gave me one more chance to get it right. When I went to work and found out my job was secure; I knew God gave me one more chance to get a paycheck. When I encountered someone talking crazy to me; I knew God was giving me one more chance to show love and kindness. Let’s not waste the chances that God is giving us today, it could be our last chance.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Believe In The Right One

Many of us will believe our friends before we believe God. We put all of our trust in our friends and they cannot heal, deliver or set us free. They can tell us what we should do and they don’t even do it. When we put all of our trust in God we are trusting the right one. The bibles says; lean not to your own understanding but in all of your ways acknowledge him. Stop putting your trust in people who have no power.

Don’t Complain

Don’t complain, because someone else is worse off than you. Don’t complain, because someone else would love the life you have to include your issues. If we are attentive to the Holy Spirit, we will see in our everyday life that we don’t have it as bad as we think we do. The mere fact we got a roof over our heads, food to eat, transportation, a closet full of clothes, etc. that’s enough. God said; he’d supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory. So if our needs are being supplied, why are we complaining because God didn’t give us our wants. We want stuff that we cannot afford. We want stuff that our character cannot handle. We want stuff to impress somebody else. And so it is, God’s not going to supply all of our wants, because he knows it’s no good for us.

The Blood

On this coming Sunday just about every church in America and some overseas will be talking about the blood of Jesus Christ. The preacher will tell you how Jesus hung, bled and died for your sins. Then the preacher will rev-up and tell the congregation how Jesus didn’t stay dead but he rose early on Sunday morning. The church is going to get happy and shout all over the sanctuary. Sadly after the shout, the people will leave church and forget about the blood. The blood has saving power. The blood has healing power. The blood has delivering power. What can wash away my sins; nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again; nothing but the blood of Jesus. Don’t take the blood of Jesus for granted. He could have come down from th cross and we’d be in hell.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Make Up Your Mind

We are either going to serve God in good and bad times, or we’re not. Many people say God is good, but when bad times come; they’re not sure if God even exist. We can be so wish-washy when it comes to serving God. We need to be like Joshua, and say; as for me and my house we’re going to serve the Lord. No matter what life throws our way, we must know that God got it. He got the whole world in his hands and he can solve all our problems.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Who Are We

Who are we to think that God should only save a certain type of person. Most of us act like Jonah. God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach repentance to the people, but Jonah wanted them to perish and felt like God shouldn’t save them. After God dealt with Jonah he went and did what God told him to do. God had to let Jonah realize that he loves the heathen too and that he will spare no extreme to get his message across to the people. So, before we become all high and mighty thinking God has no more saving power after he saved us; we need to get a grip and know God sent someone to preach repentance to us. We all were heathens and some of us are still heathens. If you’re saved thank God for his grace and mercy. If your brother or sister is not saved; continue to pray for them and watch God work.

How To Treat Your Enemies

All of us have enemies no matter who we are. However, all of us don’t treat them the same. Some of us hate them, some of us talk about them, some of us seek revenge on them, etc…The bible gives us the correct way to treat our enemies. Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. So there you have it.

Guilty By Association

In the criminal justice system you can be found guilty by association if you were with someone that committed a crime, even though you did not participate. Many of us make God guilty by association. We say we are Christians, we say we have Jesus in our hearts; yet we go and willfully sin. While we are sinning we are carrying Jesus in our hearts, therefore; making him guilty by association. We wonder why non-believers won’t give their lives to God; it’s because the God we’ve displayed is just as corrupt as the world. We have no reverential fear of God anymore. We treat him like a mere man. We don’t trust him, we don’t take him at his word, and we don’t care for him to be around us all the time. We think God is a puppet and that we are his puppet master. We pull a string and he goes this way, we pull another string and he goes that way. We better wake up and get for real about our salvation. No man knows the day nor the hour when Jesus will appear, therefore; we don’t have time to keep playing these foolish, worldly, sinful games. If we die and go to hell, it’s no one fault but ours.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
