A Praise Partner

Psalms 34:3 says; O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together. When we got home from church today, I was playing my shouting music while cooking. All of a sudden my 10yr old daughter said; mom come hold my hand and praise God with me. We danced and praised God all over the living room. It’s good to praise God all by yourself, but sometimes it’s better when someone else joins in.  So get you a praise partner and enjoy Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Stop Following People That Cannot See

Why do you keep telling people your dreams and the things that God has shown you, when all they do is speak against it? Why do you allow people to take up space in your world when all they want to do is keep you on their level? Stop dealing with people who cannot see beyond their right now, and press towards the mark of a high calling which is in Christ Jesus. You will never get further than where you are being with people that continue to live in yesterday.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Look On The Bright Side

A while back I was informed that my grandson’s childcare fees were going up. When I went to his school to see what was going on, the director said; everyone’s fees went down. I explained to her my fees went up and she asked; did your pay go up? I said yes, she said that’s why. I wasn’t mad, I was just like; dang it. However, my spirit was quickened. In looking on the bright side, my fees went up because God increased my pay. When we ask God to increase our finances or enlarge our territory, when he does it, nothing stays the same. I could have been on welfare, but thank God I’m faring well. The bright side looks better than the bottom of the barrel. It just reminds us to much is given, much is required. Don’t ask for much if you’re still wanting to just give a little.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Will You Trust Me

Job 13:15
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:but I will maintain mine own ways before him.How many of us only trust God when the blessings are flowing? Do we trust God when we don’t feel him, when it seems as if our prayers are not reaching heaven, and when God allows calamity to come into our lives? It’s easy to trust God when everything is fine, but the true test of trust in God is when all hell is breaking loose and our world as we know it is crumbling all around us.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Let Us Pray

Father, I have been acting as if you don’t exist. I’m sorry for making other things and people God in my life. I’m sorry for living recklessly and for not letting my light shine. Lord, thank you for giving me a chance to repent and for not letting me see death while I was out here in my sins. Thank you Lord, for snatching me out of the hands of the enemy, in Jesus’s name amen.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Get Back Up

We’ve all falling down but we got back up. Don’t allow one misstep, one mistake, one setback, etc to keep you in the depths of despair. No we’re not proud of what we’ve done, but we can learn from it. Jesus is our advocate. It’s because he lives we can face tomorrow. We can face being laughed at, talked about and ridiculed about our past failures. God will get the last laugh when he redeems his children and turns the situation around. What the enemy meant for bad, God turned it around for my good.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Stirred UP

Are you on fired up for the Lord? Are you ready to go win souls for the Kingdom of God? If not, then get stirred up. Everyday we wake up we should be excited for the daily assignment God has for us. That means we have to ask God on daily basis; Lord what will you have for me to do today. That means we are in constant communication with God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Don’t Recognize You

Yesterday I held a whole conversation with this guy before he realized who I was. I’ve lost 40lbs so I look different. As we were talking he asked what do you do. When I told him, he said; you’re Ms. Brown. He’s seen me for almost three years and because of my weight loss he thought I was someone else. The same thing happens when we lose spiritual weight. When we turn our backs on God and stop praying, reading the word and doing what the word of God says; we become unrecognizable. We may not realize it, but our countenance changes. If we be honest with ourselves we know if we’ve stopped following God or slacked off following God. The good news is, while the blood is running warm in our veins we can repent and get it right with God. We don’t have to hear; depart from me you workers of iniquity for I never knew you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Process

My grandson loves going to school, but he doesn’t like the process he has to go through to get there. He doesn’t like waking up early in the morning, getting cleaned up, dressed and eating breakfast before we head out. No matter how much he doesn’t like it, he still has to go through it. The same thing happens with us. We want God to bless us, make our names great, move mountains on our behalf; yet we don’t want to go through the process. We don’t want to get pruned, cut, crushed or taken through the fire. We want God to speak a word and BAAM it’s done. Whether you want the process or not, you’re going to have to go through it to get to the next thing God has for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Real Blessings

Real blessings are not material things and money. Real blessings are when God forgives your sins and remembers them no more.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
