Don’t Get Discouraged

It can be discouraging watching other people be healed, delivered and blessed while you’re waiting on the same thing. But, don’t let this discourage you; let it encourage you. You should be encouraged in the fact that God is still moving on someone’s behalf and it’s just a matter of time before he moves on your behalf. God loves you and he only wants the best for you. He knows when it’s time to intervene on your behalf. So, while you’re watching and waiting; keep fasting and praying.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Spiritual Starvation

Sometimes you can sit in church Sunday after Sunday and still be starving spiritually. It is at this point in life that you have to dig deep in the well of your soul and feed your spirit. Don’t look for anyone else to feed you. Your spirit is hungry for the word of God. Now is not the time to starve yourself or go on a spiritual diet.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Press Your Way

There are times in our lives that we don’t feel like praising God, we don’t feel like praying and we don’t feel like going to church. It’s in those times that we have to press our way. When these feelings come upon us, we have to wonder what blessing is the enemy trying to keep from us. The enemy knows if he can get us to shut our mouths so that we won’t praise and worship God, then he’s defeated us. We have to be like Jeremiah when he said; he was going to hold his peace but the word of God was like fire shut up in his bones and he couldn’t hold his peace.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Can Recover

Today my son had a football game. Normally he plays strong safety on defense, but today he was on offense and defense. While playing offense he fumbled the ball. He was down about it and later said; mom I bet the fumble is going to be in the paper. I told him he was one heck of a strong safety and he will recover from the fumble. Many of us fumble in life and feel as though we cannot recover. We can recover! There’s nothing to hard for God. We should learn from our fumbles and try our best not to fumble in that area of life anymore. Don’t let the fumbles of life get you down, cause depression, make you want to commit suicide, do drugs or drive you to drink. After we fumble and fall down, we need to have enough sense to get back up, dust ourselves off and keep it moving. God is faithful and just to forgive us.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Lord Help

On today temptation is sure to come so we need to ask God to help us to not be led away with it. Help us to not fall into temptation. Being tempted is not a sin, falling into temptation is the sin. God is powerful and he can do it, but we have to ask him. He will never override our will. Many people don’t ask for help with temptation because they think that they can handle it. It’s dangerous to play with sin. Sin makes you stay longer than you wanted to stay; and it makes you pay more than you intended to pay. Just ask for God’s help in every area of your life today. Let the devil know he has no power over you, and as of today he cannot keep tripping you up with the same old tactics anymore, because Jesus is your help.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Who’s Lord In Your Life

Is God really Lord in your life? Often we like to say God comes first in our life, but if we really sat down and looked at all of our priorities; we would see that we are not actually putting God first in our lives. How much time does God have of ours during the day? Is it 30 minutes, 15 minutes, hours or seconds? Do we purposely carve out time to spend with God? When we can answer these questions honestly, then we will find out who’s Lord in our life, and sadly we may find out it’s not God. We all need to do better, for God has given us his best.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

When Was The Last Time

When was the last time you told God how much you loved him, appreciated him and adored him. When was the last time you went to God with thanksgiving, praise and worship. When was the last time you just talked to God and not ask him for anything. There is a sweet place in God outside of church. The sweet place is that secret meeting place you have with God where you can just commune with him. Don’t wait until Sunday to love on God, appreciate him, talk to him, praise and worship him. Make it your lifestyle to do these things. You should never have to think; when was the last time you had an encounter with God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

God Said You Can Have It

Just because God said you can have it, doesn’t mean you don’t have to work for it. He told the children of Israel that he was going to bring them into the promise land, but they had to possess it. Whatever God said you can have, it’s time to work hard at getting it. If he said you can have the degree, you need to study and hit the books. If he said you can have the job, you need to apply for it and learn everything about the company. If he said you will have victory in the battles you face, you need to ask him how does he want you to fight. Does he want you to fight with the weapon of praise, worship, prayer, fasting or singing, or does he want you to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Everything God said you can have, he’s already made provision for you to get it. You just have to get up and get busy and put in the work.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

What’s In You

What’s in us will come out of us. If lying, deceitfulness, hatefulness, anger and rudeness are in us, it’s coming out. If love, meekness, kindness and treating people right are in us, it’s coming out. We never have to ask a person what’s in them, just listen to their conversation then watch their actions. If we know what’s coming out of us is not pleasing to God, we need to give it to God and ask him to cleanse us and change us from the inside out.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

And It Is So

Whenever God gives you a word you can bank on it. When the enemy comes in your ear to tell you something contrary to what God said; just say what God said it is so. As long as you got a word from the Lord you can carry that with you always.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
