I Know The Lord Will Make A Way

Many people are wondering how are they going to provide a Thanksgiving feast for their families. They are barely making it day to day, check to check, and month to month. Know that God will make a way. If there is no turkey with all of the trimmings, and he provides you with a rotisserie chicken and sides; please know he’s made a way. If there is nothing on the table and people invite you over for dinner and allow you to take some home; please know he’s made a way. God never tells us how he’s going to make the way. He just tells us to trust and believe.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

If God Called You

Stop waiting on somebody to co-sign on what God told you to do. He called you to do a work but you’re waiting on someone in the church, mainly the pastor to recognize it. While you’re waiting you’re out of the will of God. If you know for a fact that God called you to do a certain work, then you tell the pastor. If the pastor doesn’t accept it, that’s between the pastor and God, but you better go do what you were called to do. On a side note, everybody is not called to be a preacher.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

If God Did It Before

If God worked things out for you before, he will do it again. Now is not the time to doubt God. He’s proven himself to you time and time again. He has an impeccable track record. Just trust and believe and stand on the word of God. His word cannot go out and return unto him void. Just put a praise on it right now. Don’t wait until your battle is over, shout right now. Tell God thank you before its already done. Adore him now, love on him now, he is faithful and just to forgive you and come see about you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

God Is Delaying His Coming

Years ago we use to hear the older saints say; Jesus is coming soon. It is now the 21st century and Jesus hasn’t returned yet. Did we ever stop to think that he’s delaying his coming so that we might accept him as our Lord and Savior? It’s not his will that none shall perish but have everlasting life. Since we don’t know when he’s coming, we should live everyday in expectation. In doing so, we should live pure and holy. We should be mindful of how we speak and act, and how we treat one another. What if we were in the middle of cursing someone out, fornicating, committing adultery, lying, stealing, falsifying God’s, word, etc… and he cracked the sky? That’s not going to be a good day for us. So, take advantage of his delay and get right, confess your sins, repent, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and live a sanctified and holy life.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

When People Don’t Know

When people don’t know what’s going on with you they will make up something. When Hannah was in the temple praying, Eli didn’t know what was going on with her, so he assumed she was drunk. This woman was depressed, in deep hurt to her heart because she couldn’t give her husband Elkanah a child. Yet, his other wife bore him children and reminded her everyday that she was barren. We never know what a person is going through. When we don’t know what’s going on with someone, let’s not assume anything. For we only make an ass out of you and me.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Stop Trying To Explain

Stop trying to explain why and how God blessed you. People always want to know; why. The next time somebody ask you how you got the blessings you have; tell them to consult the blesser and ask him how and why he did it. I guarantee you they won’t ask that question no more. Besides; you really can’t explain the favor on your life. You really can’t explain why God looked beyond your faults and saw your needs. You really can’t explain why God does what he does. So, don’t. Just let your life speak for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Saved And Messing Up

Romans 7:21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.Many people are saved and still messing up. Paul recognized this as his flesh and spirit were warring with each other. Just because we are saved doesn’t mean that we won’t mess up. No good thing dwells in our flesh, that’s why we have to repent and ask God for forgiveness daily. When you see a Christian mess up, pray for them instead of saying “I thought you were a Christian”. The difference between a Christian  and a sinner,is that the Christian professed Jesus as their Lord and savior and now they are going through the process of becoming Christ like. The sinner still wants and allows Satan to rule over them.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Don’t Miss It Until It’s Gone

Yesterday my daughter decided she didn’t want her car anymore and that she wanted to buy a new car. So I junked it. Right after I junked it she needed to go here, there, and everywhere. I told her; you see how it is not to have a car. She replied; I never realized how much I used my car. Many of us are like this. We take the Holy Spirit for granted and don’t realize how much we need it. We don’t realize how much we rely on it. But, as soon as God takes his spirit from us we know it and feel it immediately. Let’s stop taking the Holy Spirit for granted and cherish the fact that, God chose us to be heirs in his family. He invited us to have eternal life in Christ Jesus. Sadly, many people are not going to want it until they can’t have it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Don’t Let This Be The End Of Your Story

Jesus’story didn’t end with him dying on the cross or him raising from the dead. He still lives today and he’s coming back. Since his story didn’t end there, and he died so that we can live; our story doesn’t have to end where we’re at today in our lives. Things can turn around for us. Oppression can end. Discrimination can end. Better jobs are a reality. Better pay is a reality. Communities transformed and being safe to live in again is a reality. Our story doesn’t have to end the way the media portrays it. God is the author and finisher of our fate. If he says we can have better, we can. If he says we can overcome, we can. If he says we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ we are. Start decreeing and declaring your story, then go live it.  I decree and declare my story is not ending, it’s just beginning.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Bitter or Better

Are you bitter or better after the situation God allowed you to go through? Did you cling to God or were you so mad that you forgot about God and left him completely? If you are bitter you need to repent and ask God to forgive you. Psalms 84:11 says: For the Lord God is a sun and shield the Lord will give grace and glory no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. In your situation were you walking as God would have you to walk? If not, then you need to be mad at yourself not God. If you are better from your situation, you need to thank God that you were able to learn the lesson he was teaching. God doesn’t allow trials to come into our life to make us bitter. He allows trials to come in our life to increase our faith and to show up mightily in our lives. How do you know God is a healer if you never got sick? How do you know God will make a way out of no way if you always have money in the bank and your change never gets strange? How do you know God will supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory, if your never lack anything and never have to depend on anybody? The bibles says in Philippians 2:10-11That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. So you can be better and bow now or be bitter and bow later.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
