People are always watching you even when you don’t know it. When we are not mindful of this we may act out of character. While acting out of character someone that knows us is watching. We may not know them but they know us. We have to realize that God is always watching us. Even when we are angry we have to compose ourselves, because we may be trying to invite these people to know Jesus. Whatever we do we cannot afford to lose our witness. Besides when we act out of character, who will want to serve a God like ours?

Many of us are fighting battles that don’t belong to us. Instead of fighting, we need to inquire of the Lord and see what he has to say. We’d be surprise to learn that this battle is not ours it’s the Lord’s. In 2Chronicles 20 Jehosaphat found himself in a battle and God told him this battle is not yours it’s the Lord. The Lord told him to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. So Jehosaphat and the children of Judah began to praise God before the battle was even won. You never have to worry when God is fighting for you.

People are always complaining about the weather. In the winter it’s too cold. In the summer it’s too hot. In the spring it bothers people sinus’. The fall is pretty but it’s too wet. This is God’s weather we’re talking about. In the winter somebody needed the snow and cold to keep their ski business running. In the summer, somebody wished it would rain a lot so their crops would grow. With each season brings different weather. Just like the seasons in our life. Right now where I live it’s been raining and flooding but someone is dry in their spirit. In other parts of the world it’s dry, humid, no water insight, but someone is having an overflow in their spirit. Stop complaining about the weather, and deal with the seasons in your life. God knows what he’s doing with the weather just like he knows what season he has you in.

Are you starving spiritually? Do you feel like you’re spirits not getting fed? If so, what are you doing about it? Many people sit in church and are still malnourished. Just like we feed our natural bodies, we have to feed our spirit. We have to get in the word of God for ourselves. We have to develop a prayer life for ourselves. Honestly, you will not always get fed in church and going from church to church can cause food poisining. If you want your soul nourished, try spending some alone time with God. He will fill you up and you won’t be hungry, you’ll just keep coming back for more. Stop starving and go feast at the Lord’s table.

I don’t understand how people can say they are not morning people. My children say this all the time. What if God decides to come back in the morning? Will some people miss him because they are not morning people? The very moment God decides to wake you up and let you see the dawning of a brand new day, you aught to say thank you. Instead, many people say; leave me alone, give me a few more minutes. I say; rise, shine, and give God the glory.

The enemy thought he was going to take you out, but by the grace of God you’re still here. It’s time to tell the enemy I’m still here and no devil in hell is going to take me out, in Jesus name. When your fake friends counted you out, they thought you were finished. Now they have to reckon with the fact you’re still here. When your relationship ended, the other person thought surely you wouldn’t survive; but now they see not only are you surviving without them, you’re thriving. Just began to thank God that you’re still here. Lord I thank you for allowing me to be here. It could have been me, but you saw fit to turn my situation around. Thank you Lord for preparing a table for me in the presence of my enemies. Thank you Lord for making my enemies my footstool. When my enemies came upon me they stumbled and fell. Lord, I thank you.

Years ago the slogan was said; “Can’t we all just get along”. You would think all Christians would live by this. Sadly, the reality is we don’t get along all the time. Sometimes this can cause a rift in the church if it goes unresolved. We are all trying to make it to heaven. We are all saved by the same blood, yet we act like we got a different Heavenly Father. We act like our Heavenly Father is only suppose to forgive us an no one else. We act like he is only suppose to bless us and forget about others. We need to renew our minds and get Christ like minds. With the attitudes we’re carrying on with, we just might not make it in ourselves.

Many of us have friends with flaws. We have flaws ourselves. We shouldn’t be so quick to get rid of our friends. None of us are perfect. Jesus said; I no longer call you servant, I call you friend. If Jesus can keep us as his friend with all of our flaws, why are getting rid of our friends. We may not always agree with what they do,  but that doesn’t make it wrong. If I got rid of all my friends with flaws, I would be one lonely person. We talk a lot about unconditional love, but we have yet to show it and give it. If we be honest with ourselves; all of us have conditions on which we will withdraw our love. So instead of getting rid of friends with flaws, we need to get rid of our ism’s and schism’s that keep us from living the word of God.

The majority of the world remembers this day. This day killed many people. This day sent many to war, I was counted among the many that went. This day changed the lives of many forever. Some people found their purpose for living on this day. Some people drew close to God on this day. Some people caved to fear on this day.  This day brings many mixed emotions for many people. However you feel about this day, remember God doesn’t make any mistakes and as hard as it is sometimes; we have to accept what God allows.
