This Can’t Be Real

Has God ever blessed you to the point that you think; this can’t be real. This is unbelievable! Did you just want to tell everybody? Are you so grateful that you don’t see why everyone’s not happy,  because they are in the same place as you? I know exactly how you feel. God gave me a job, the job was a promotion. Along with the promotion came free housing with washing machine & dryer, and free utilities for me and my kids. The only bill I have is food, phone, and Internet. I’m in awe everyday. I don’t understand why the people I work around complain. I just think to myself; are y’all for real right now, you don’t pay for nothing and you still complain. I never knew you could live off half of your pay and put the other half in the bank and don’t touch it. All I can say is; can’t nobody do me like Jesus. Lord, I’m seeing what overflow living looks like and I thank you Jesus.

I Don’t Need Your Approval

Do you have friends or family members that think you need their approval to advance in life? Do they think they hold your promotion in their hand? Are they always trying to give you advice about your career and life? Well if that’s happening to you, it’s time to give them a news flash. Promotions come from God and when you need their help or advice you will ask for it. Until then, don’t worry be happy.

Looking Back

When we look back over our lives, we should be able to see how God has kept us. He’s kept us even when we didn’t give him a second thought. He kept us even when we were letting Satan be our father. He kept us in our ignorance and arrogance. We all have the testimony; when I look back over my life and think things over, I have a testimony. After we look back, we need to say; Lord I thank you for bringing me from a mighty long way.

Running Out Of Time

This morning I woke up extremely late but I still had some time to get ready for work. While I was rushing to get ready I was thinking; Lord stay the time so I won’t be late. I made it to work just in time. All of us are running out of time with where our souls will spend eternity. We don’t know when Jesus is returning and we can’t afford to wait to get it right. If you knew your soul was required of you today, would you be ready? Don’t waste your time, running out of time.

Check Your Priorities

Life is not about what kind of car you drive, the rims you have, or the latest clothes you have in your closet. Life is about our service to God. When we die, God doesn’t care about how much money we saved in a natural bank. He wants to know about our spiritual bank account. Did we serve him by serving the poor. Did we serve him by trusting him and putting our faith in him and not man. Did we serve him by standing on the word of God. Did we serve him by loving one another. The bible says in Luke 12:31; But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Our hearts and minds should be on service to God, not service to flesh.

The Condition of Our Heart

We are always so quick to talk about someone else and see fault in them, however; we haven’t turned the searchlight on our hearts. Mark 7:21-22 says; For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All of this is in us. Yes, we are Christians but is all of this can be found in our hearts, and this is what comes out of us. Therefore, we have no room to talk about others. All we can say is; create in me a clean heart oh Lord, and renew a right spirit in me. Our hearts are wicked above all. God searches our hearts and when he search us what will he really find? Today is a good day for heart surgery.

It’s Just A Matter Of Time

People may look at us now and laugh and talk about us, but it’s just a matter of time before God manifest himself in our life and those same people will be coming to us for help. People may be acting up on our jobs and backstabbing us, but it’s just a matter of time before we will have to speak on their behalf and help save their job. People may not want anything to do with God and the church, but it’s just a matter of time before they come to us for prayer. When all of this happens, instead of saying; now you need me. We need to act like our father and love them with arms wide open. We need to help them without malice in our hearts. Speak for them in sincerity. Lastly, we need to pray for them without guile on our lips.

I Need More Information

Have you ever told God to give you more information so that it will be easier to join in on participation? Just a little glimpse of what he’s doing; so that you won’t be walking around blind in the dark. Did God act like he didn’t hear you, and your participation in this trial was apprehensive? Nevertheless, you had no choice but to continue in the trial. God is not going to give us a play-by-play commentary of our trials, but he will call an audible when he needs to. When God is not talking we need to bring to remembrance the things he told us when he was talking. We need to hold on to his words, and surely; we need to know that he will bring us out in his time.

Touch Me Lord

A touch from Jesus makes everything alright. A touch from Jesus means something inside of us has to come alive. A touch from Jesus means someone is going to be healed, be delivered, and be set free. A touch from Jesus is no ordinary touch. It’s hard to stay the same once the Master’s hands have been on you. Our prayers should be; lay your hands on me Jesus, I don’t mind. Or perhaps, touch me Lord Jesus. Many people in today’s society is looking for a fleshly touch, but God wants to give us a spiritual touch. He’s not trying to touch us for frills and thrills; he’s giving us a touch that can save our very souls from hell.

It’s Never Too Late

As long as you are alive it’s never too late to get it right with God. God is just and ready to forgive you of your sins. Don’t let anyone tell you that God won’t forgive you. He gave his only begotten son, so that everyone can be saved. It’s also never too late to go after your dreams. No matter how old you are, go after what you want. At least try and if you fail; you failed trying. If you never try, you just failed because you didn’t believe in yourself.
