Do you question everything that God tells you? Must you know every detail of everything? When it comes to God; being caught up in the details can make you miss your blessing. Learn how to roll with it. That’s called faith. When God tells you something, roll with it. Take him at his word. After all; he’s a man that cannot lie. It’s God’s reputation at stake not yours.

When we pray, God doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we think he should answer. When he doesn’t answer our prayers the we want him too, we should still be thankful. Some people prayed to marry that man or woman, God said; no. We cried, we thought God didn’t love us anymore, now when we see the guy or lady, she’s strung out on drugs, he lost his job, and now we are shouting without music; because we realize God spared us heartache and headache. Many of us prayed to be a homeowner, God said; not now. We explained to God how we paid our tithes and offerings and asked him why. A few weeks later many people got laid off of work, and found out it’s easier to find a new place to rent then go into foreclosure. We should thank God that he love us enough to answer our prayers the way they need to be answered. Just think how much stuff you prayed about and didn’t get, if God would have let you have your way, would you really be happy? Would you really want want what you prayed for? Look at it this way. God may have not answered the way I like, but I know I can get a prayer through.

Before you give up, go a little further. Before you throw in the towel, pray one more prayer. Before you denounce God, look back over your life and see how far God’s brought you. Jesus went the ultimate mile for us. So that you can go the extra mile.

Many of us have this testimony; that we’ve seen better days. We’ve seen days where we could walk down the street and not get shot at. We’ve seen days where we could let our kids go to school, and was confident they were coming home alive. We’ve seen days where everyone in the neighborhood helped each other, instead of rob one another. The days we live in now are so uncertain. Some of us rather home school then expose our kids to the elements of society. Some of us rather telework then risk getting on a bus or train to get to job, only to be held up by a discruntal co-worker. The only certainty that we have in this life, is that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe that God has raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. Choose ye this day, to serve God. He is the only one that can save our souls from a burning hell. If you think you’re living in hell on earth, you have no idea what awaits you if you choose not to serve God.

The bible says; the saved are going to scarcely make it in. With that being said, we don’t have time to argue, murmur, complain, be disobedient, or have unforgiveness in our hearts. If we keep this saying in the front of our minds; we will be quick to love, quick to forgive, quick to obey , and quick to get it right with God. We are going to scarcely make it in. That’s like having enough money to pay the bill but not enough for the stamp to put it in the mail. Now you need a ride to get it to the bill collector. Scarcely make it in. That’s like getting your foot in the door and it’s closing on your body, you just got a foot in. When we truly stop to think about what this means, we all need to get right church and let’s go home.

Today I had my book signing and it was amazing. Anytime I have something I always wonder if people are going to show up. Earlier in the day God told me not to worry, because a whole lot of people will show up. I must tell you, God showed up and showed out. So many people came and wanted multiple copies of my book. All I could do was smile the whole night. When it was over, I went to my meeting spot with God and just thanked him. He didn’t have to do it, but he did. If God ever tells you something, take him at his word.

If you are not happy with who you are, how do you expect other people to be happy with who you are. Stop letting people define you. What God has for you is not for other people. He has something for them too. The word spoken over your life is not the word for everyone around you. We are all created in the image and likeness of God. So if you don’t like yourself, you’re saying; you don’t like what God created. From this day forward, make up in your mind; I’m going to be happy in my own skin. I’m going to be confident in the person God made. I’m going to walk in the word that has been spoken over my life. I’m not going to be jealous over the word that’s been spoken over my sister or brother life. I will just rejoice with them.

Many people can’t move forward in life because they are stuck in their past. The bible says forgetting those things that are behind, and press towards the mark of a high calling. Everyone likes to bring up your past, but no one wants to help you get to your destiny. You have to be determined that; the past is the past. There’s nothing you can do it about, but learn from it. It’s time see what God has for you and reach for that. No good thing will he withhold from. You withhold it from yourself.

Now a days people don’t want you to proclaim your faith, because it clashes with their hellish ways. Christians have an obligation to bless the name of the Lord. We have to make up in our minds, that no matter what is going on around us, no matter what type of lifestyles other people live, we will bless the name of the Lord. We will live holy. We will live according to what the bible says. We can do this without being nasty to other people. This is one thing we cannot compromise on. The bible says; if you be ashamed of God, then he’ll be ashamed of you.

The other day my kids and I were talking and my daughter said; mom you’re walking like your feet hurt. Quickly my 4yr old grandson said; yeah her feet hurt and she runs slow too. Everyone started laughing because he was right. What my kids fail to understand is, I’m no longer in the military, therefore; I can run at my own pace. I don’t have to run fast anymore to try to keep up with everyone else. On this Christian journey, we have to figure out the pace God wants us to run. He will not have us run at someone else’s’ pace. Don’t get upset when you see your sister or brother out running you. It really doesn’t matter how fast we run, it matters if we get to the finish line. So run on and see what the ends going to be.
