Pass Me Not

Many of us have had this prayer. Lord while others are calling on you do not pass me by. Jesus was on his way to heal the ruler’s daughter and the woman with an issue of blood said within herself; if I could just touch his the hem of his garment I will be made whole. Jesus was passing by and  I can just imagine she said to herself Jesus don’t pass me by. While the ruler is calling on you for his daughter, don’t pass me by. We may not say this out loud but we we say it silently. Lord while you’re blessing my neighbor, bless me. Lord you healed her body please heal my body. Lord while you’re delivering her marriage, save my marriage. Lord while you’re saving his children, save my children. Lord! Please don’t pass me by. If this is your prayer, keep praying it until the Lord stops by and see about you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

One More Chance

When I woke up this morning I thought to myself, God gave me one more chance. The bible says; it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. With the mercies that God has given me today, I want to please God. In pleasing God; I want to be nice to people, I want to show love and kindness, I want to let the love of Jesus shine from the inside out. What are you doing with the mercies that God has given you today? Whatever you do, make it count.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Count Your Blessings

When we begin to count our blessings, we don’t have time to complain. It’s hard to do both at the same time. Everyday God blesses us with something. He blesses us with life, health, strength, family, jobs, love, compassion, grace, forgiveness, etc… I could go on and on. Stop looking at your neighbors blessings and thank God for the blessings he’s bestowed upon you. When we look at other people blessings that’s when we start to complain and compare. We start to tell God how he failed when it came to blessing us. We start to tell God how ungrateful we really are, and right after we show our ungratefulness; we turn right around and ask God for something else. In counting our blessings, we show our gratitude to God and our respect for God. Lastly, when we count our blessings, we find out that we are more blessed than we thought.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Healing

Many people say they are trusting God to heal their body, yet they won’t take the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Their reasoning is, they want God to heal them. This baffles me because if they wanted God to heal their body, why did they go to the doctor’s in the first place. I’ve heard some people say that you don’t have faith in God if you take medicine. That’s a lie from the pit of hell. If I’m sick and want to get well. I’m trusting God to send me to the right doctor, and that the doctor is going to give me the right diagnosis the first time and prescribed the right medicine. People can become so holy that they are no earthly good. Why stay sick if God made provisions for you to be healed. Why have your body racked with pain if God had people create medicine that can take the pain away. Stop letting people beat you over the head by misinterpreting the bible, and coming up with their own beliefs and take the medicine and be healed. Truth be told, if they got sick they will be the first ones at the pharmacy saying God gave them a revelation and that someone prophesied to them about taking medicine. I’ve seen too much foolishness all in the name of the Lord.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

This Is The Lord’s Battle

Many of us are fighters by nature. We may not start the fight, but we are not opposed to finishing the fight. Some us fight real dirty, it just depends on the situation. Some of us fight to the death; we say, it’s either them or me. Now that we are on the Lord’s side we don’t have to fight. We can stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. We can take comfort in knowing, the battle’s not our’s it’s the Lord’s. However, he chooses to fight, is up to him. God can do more damage to our enemies than we can anyway. Therefore, we can put our fighting skills away and cultivate our trusting skills in the Lord.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Don’t Be A Know It All

Many of us are experts in something. We should never let our expertise fool us into thinking that we know everything about God. Sometimes people make me sick when they profess to know everything there is about God. They know when he’s going to heal, they know when he’s going to deliver, they know when he’s going to saved that unsaved loved one. They just know too much. As did the disciples when it came to fishing. Jesus told them to lower their nets and they told Jesus; we’ve been out here fishing all day and nothing is biting. God created the sea and the fish don’t you think he knows what he is telling them to do. Just like God knows what he’s telling us to do. God never asks us what do we think about the instructions he gives us, he also never asks us for our expert opinion. Being a know it all can make us miss out on our blessings. There are times in life we should be quiet; when God gives us instructions, that’s one of the times.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Share Jesus

Psalm 34:3 says; oh magnify the Lord with me, let us exalt his name together. Sometimes we have to let people in on our praise and worship. It’s good to have your alone time with God, but it’s even better when two or three are gathered in his name. When we praise and worship God together, we are putting the devil on notice. We are letting him know that there is strength in numbers and that we have each others back. For the bible says; if one can chase a thousand, two can put ten thousand to flight. I know some people think they don’t need anybody else as long as they have king Jesus. That’s a lie from the pit of hell. We are to cry when other’s cry and rejoice when other’s rejoice. You cannot be a lone ranger in this Christian walk. So, praise and worship God with someone else on today.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Didn’t Die For Me

Stop giving people power over you who didn’t die for you. Stop hanging on to every word they say like it’s the gospel. Stop allowing them to be your life support. Stop thinking you can’t make it without them. People will try to make you a puppet in their world just to benefit them. Once you no longer allow them to pull your strings, they will have no more use for you. Stop bending over backwards to please people who didn’t die for you. You don’t bend over backwards to please God and he died for you. When you look to people more than you look to God, you make those people your god. So if they didn’t die for you, don’t live for them. Live for God and in living for God, you will be living for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

It’s Not Over Until God Says So

Many of you feel like the situations you are going through are dead. You may feel like your destiny is dead, your purpose is dead, and your meaning for living is dead. People may have counted you out and you may have counted yourself out, but it ain’t over until God says it’s over. Your destiny still has purpose and your life still has meaning. Lazarus was dead for four days and they told Jesus by now his body stinks. Yet, God said; roll the stone away and told  Lazarus to come forth. No doubt something has died in your life, but that’s not how the story ends. God will resurrect what needs to resurrected in your life, and he will allow those things that need to remain dead stay dead. It’s not for you to try to resurrect these things, it’s God’s job. So, stand still and let God be God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

You Need The Word

The word of God is the only thing that will keep us. Jesus told Satan; that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. It’s not enough to just listen to the pastor or preacher preach, we have to go back and check what they said. The preacher can say Mary had a little lamb and the church will say amen. That’s foolishness. Mary didn’t have a little lamb, she had Jesus and we call him the Lamb of God. That’s why we have to know the word for ourselves. We also need to know the word, for when Satan brings his little imps and try to startle us with all types of drama. When you put the word on your situation God has to honor it. For the bible says; the word of God cannot go out and return unto him void; it has to accomplish what it set out to do. Get in the word and let the word get in you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
