Although you don’t feel the presence of the Lord, or see him moving on your behalf trust him anyway. During testing time the teacher is silent, but the teacher is also watching. God really won’t put more on you than you can bear. He knows how much crushing you can handle and how much crushing you need to come forth as pure gold. Keep crying out to God for he hears you. In his time he will answer. In his time he will deliver. If he hasn’t answered or delivered, then it’s not time.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing. 

People may look at you and say there’s nothing to you, but you know there’s more than meet the eye. They would be shocked to know that you can get a prayer through. They would be shocked to know the many talents and gifts that God has bestowed upon you. Don’t get angry when people don’t recognize what’s in you, because the shock and awe moment is much better. Once they find out, they will say; I didn’t know you could do that. Just respond, how could you, you never asked, you just assumed and we all know what assumes mean. Every time you look in the mirror just know; there’s more than meet the eye.

When troubles come our way, that is not the time to go and tell our best friends. That’s the time to go and tell Jesus. The old hymn says; I must tell Jesus all of my troubles, these burdens are too much to bear. So why not tell Jesus? He’s the one that can fix it, and let’s be honest; we’re only giving people information about us so they can try to use it against us when we make them mad. When our enemies think that we have no where to turn, they think they’ve won. It never dawns on them that we have a Savior that we can go to in prayer. When we tell Jesus all about it, we can rest easy knowing he’s got it all under control. Give your burdens to him. Stop worrying about it.

The attacks that you are under  right now, Satan had to get permission from God to attack you. God is allowing these things to be, but it’s not for nothing. While you are going through your storms of life; God is going to show himself mighty. God also wants to show you what he’s placed on the inside of you, and what needs to come out of you that’s no good for you or the Kingdom of God. Fret not, because Satan can’t do no more than what God allows. In fact, if you really want to confuse Satan, start praising God in the midst of your situation. Start thanking God for considering you to go through the trial. What the enemy meant for bad, God’s going to turn it around for your good. All things work together for the good of them that love God, and are the called according to his purpose.

The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and add no sorrow. So if the thing you say God has blessed you with is causing you sorrow then, you need to check to see if it’s God. God is not going to bless you with a house or car that you cannot afford. He doesn’t want you robbing Peter to pay Paul. You will know when God blesses you. You will be able to breathe easy, sleep at night and not worry how you’re going to pay for it.

There have been times on this Christian journey that I wanted to give up and throw in the towel. I figured what’s the use of living saved, when people who were not saved had it going on. I became so busy looking at them that I took my eyes off of God. I use to think living saved was hard. Now I know it’s not hard living a saved life. It’s a choice, and it’s not hard to do things I choose to do. When I got my focus back on God, I saw how silly I was to look at people that were lost. I saw how silly I was for wanting to be lost. It’s sad to want to be like people who have no relationship with God, but’s that what a lot of people want, when they take their eyes off of God and start looking for something else. Hold on and don’t let go.

Whenever we are disobedient it cost us something. God will not sit idly by and allow us to walk in disobedience. He will chastise us because he loves us. He will give us the rod of correction. Before we say “woe is me” we need to take responsibility for our actions. We need to come clean with God and say; Lord it was me that did and said everything I’m being accused of. When we come clean with God, Satan cannot use our disobedience against us.
