My new book is now available at Xlibris.com, Barnes&Noble.com, Amazon.com; you can purchase it in Hardback, Softback, or E-Book format. Here is an excerpt from Woman2Woman:
“I Can’t Take Care of You”
I can’t take care of you
Before God gave Adam a wife
He gave him a job
“Adam, name these animals”
Before man sits down to eat
he goes out and works a full day
You see, it would be wrong for me
to aid and abet you in being lazy
It would be wrong for me
to feed you and let you be fat and full
with no job
It would be wrong for me
To let you stay in my house and watch TV
while I go to work
It definitely would be wrong
for me to let you drive my car
You see, a man that doesn’t work
doesn’t eat.
A man with no money
gets no honey.
A man with no car
means we’re walking.
And how can two walk together unless they agree
Bottom line,
I can’t take care of you
