Today I took my kids to Disneyland. My grandson was so excited, all he wanted to know is; what time is the bus leaving and why haven’t we started to move. Once we got to the park, he was pumped and ready to go. We got on a few rides then we got on the rollercoaster. As long as it was moving up he was fine. As soon as it started to drop and twist and turn he was’t happy, started crying, and wanted off. All the while I was holding him and telling him; I’m not letting you go, everything is going to be alright.
Isn’t that how we get? We start this journey strong, we’re excited, everything is going as planned. Then obstacles come, hurdles come, then we start to doubt and fear. As long as things were going well we told of the awesomeness of God. As soon as they went south, we said; we don’t think this is what God wanted me to do.
Just because God told you to do something, doesn’t mean obstacles won’t come. He said no weapon formed against you shall prosper. He never said the weapon wouldn’t form. So ride the rollercoaster of life, but hold on and know that God got you in every situation.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
