Isn’t it good to know we serve a God that allowed his son to die for us inspite of our sins. God had plenty of opportunity and reason to put us six feet under, but he told death no, not this child. While we’re going about our day and taking life for granted, be mindful that a gracious God, a loving God, a forgiving God looked beyond our faults and saw our needs. While we’re going about our day, keep in mind that if it had not been for the Lord on our side where would we be. Many people say they will sin then ask for forgiveness later. Be mindful, that the bible says; my spirit won’t contend with man always. So, I suggest you think twice about willfully sinning thinking you’ll be alive to ask for forgiveness.
Since God did it for us inspite of us, we should always have an inspite of praise. Lord inspite of things not going well in my life, I’m yet going to praise you. Lord inspite of things not going well in my home, I’m yet going to praise you. Lord inspite of the diagnosis the doctor gave me, I’m yet going to praise you. I’ve realized, that it’s in you that I live, move, and have my being. Inspite of everything that’s going on, Lord I choose you.
