There are many different reasons why someone may shed tears. There are tears of joy, sadness, anger, pain, discomfort, etc… No matter what the tears are for, cry. Often times when we hear little kids cry, we want them to shut up; they’re crying for a reason. Even when we go to funerals, we have the audacity to tell the grieving family, don’t cry. At times we can be so insensitive to other people tears. Some people cry when they are angry, and if you’re on the receiving end of that anger, you better watch out. Their tears are a sign that they’ve reached the point of no return. On the other hand; when it comes to crying, no one ever says to a proud mother or father, don’t cry, when their daughter is getting married, their child graduates ,or their son makes it to the pro’s.
God gave us tear ducts for a reason; to cry. Crying is not a sign of weakness as most people think. Crying is a natural emotion, that we should not be ashamed to express. Even Jesus cried. Just like we can’t control anyone else’s behavior, we cannot control anyone else’s emotions. Life has a way of making all of us cry. No matter how hard you are, no matter how emotionless you are; God has a way of humbling everyone. So when the tears start to flow, let them flow.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
