Peace

on February 4, 2015

Sometimes in life you have to get people out of your life just to have peace. It doesn’t mean that you don’t love them, but a peace of mind trumps a lover, family member or friend any day of the week. If someone is always bringing you drama, you need peace. If you have to constantly defend yourself to someone, you need peace. If, when that certain person always comes into your presence and your nerves are just shot when they leave, you need peace.

In some situations if you don’t have peace then it’s your fought. You can set the atmosphere in which you are. Even on your job with those coworkers and boss you don’t like, you can determine when you go into the office there will be peace. You can refuse to let the enemy have you all twisted and tied up for eight hours while you have to look at these people. You have to determine in your mind, I’m going to smile when I want to curse. I’m going to laugh when I really want to cry. I’m going to help them when I really want them to fail. They won’t take my peace or my joy.

God said he’ll give you a peace that surpasses all understanding. I never knew that type of peace existed, until I purposed in my heart to change the atmosphere around me. When you have to deal with constant drama, nagging, confusion, etc… It’s draining. It drains you physically, emotionally, psychologically, and sometimes financially. The bible also says; live peaceably with all men, if possible. Certain people don’t know how to live with peace, because drama is their normal way of life. You just pray for them and keep it moving. When you’ve had the peace of God in your life, you will never want to lose it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
