Yes

When you tell Jesus yes, do you really mean it? Or are you saying yes, because of the emotionalism that happens in church? No matter if you meant it or not, when you tell Jesus yes you will have to pay up on that yes.

The minute you say yes, it goes into the atmosphere and satan hears your yes too. Then the test and trials come. Satan goes to God and gets permission to try you on your yes and God will allow it. See, God already knows what he’s put inside of you and this is his opportunity to let you know what’s inside of you.

So, don’t be afraid to say yes to Jesus. There are great rewards to saying yes to the master, and there are great consequences to acting like you really meant no.

Almost Anointed

You can always tell the almost anointed people in the church. They have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. They have a lot of talent but they are not anointed and they have no power. Because they pray loud, doesn’t mean they’re anointed. Because they preach good and tickle your fancy, doesn’t mean they’re anointed.

The bibles says it’s the anointing that destroys the yoke. If yokes are not destroyed when someone prays, preaches or sings; then you know they are talented. But, if yokes are destroyed, chains broken off you and deliverance takes place; then know the anointing is flowing.

Whatever you do, never let an almost anointed person prophesy over your life, pray for you, or lay hands on you. You are better off praying for yourself, laying hands on yourself and prophesying over your own life.

Church Hurt

Church is the only place where you get hurt and you stop going. That’s crazy. You get hurt on your job from co-workers talking about you, yet you keep going back everyday. You get hurt by man, yet you keep looking for another man. You get hurt by a woman, yet you say there’s other fish in the sea.

Oh! But when it comes to church, you turn your back on God and walk out on him. God didn’t hurt you, people did. However, you will allow people to run you out of the one place where you’re getting fed the word of God. Ask God to deliver you from people and stay the course in your church.

Church hurt is real but it’s not the end of the world. Whatever don’t kill you, only makes you stronger.

You Cheated On Me

When someone cheats on us we get mad, our hearts get broken, we want to fight, we start cursing, we stop dating them or divorce them and most of all we want revenge. But, who do we think we are? We have cheated on someone too. You may be saying; I’ve never cheated on anyone. However, you’ve cheated on God time and time again.

You cheated on God when you made that man or woman your god.You cheated on God, when you made your job your god. You cheated on God, when you made everything else more important than him. But did he curse you out? Did he fight you? Did he get revenge on you? No! He said I’m standing here with arms wide open. He said I’m married to the backslider. He said behold, I stand at the door and knock.

You cheated on God and he allowed grace to abound that much the more. He covered you, until you got your act in order. He told the enemy he couldn’t take your life. So, don’t cheat on God anymore, and stop dating him. Marry him and be a faithful bride to him.

Planting A Seed

When you plant a seed in someone’s life, you need to take the same approach as if you’re planting a seed in the ground. When you plant a seed in the ground, you have to till the soil first. When you till soil, you are breaking up and plowing all that soil so when your seed goes in it can produce.

The same is true for people. When we attempt to plant a seed in their life, we have to till the soil of their heart. Some hearts are stoney, some hearts are cold as ice, some hearts are broken, and some hearts have walls built up. No matter the heart condition, draw them with love and kindness. Once you’ve drawn them, then you can plant the seed and it produce. Now, you may not see the seed produce or see it watered, God has someone else to do that.

It’s not always easy planting seeds in other people lives. But, don’t get frustrated, because someone had a hard time planting a seed in your life too. Just know with God on your side, you can do it.

Before You Give Up

Before you give up and throw in towel, look back over your past test and trials. Think about how God gave you the victory in those situations. Think about how you thought you were going to lose your mind, but yet you find yourself with a sound mind. Think about how you lost it all and God restored. Think about how you felt like no one understood what you were going through, then God sent someone with a shoulder to lean on.

Before you allow the enemy to deceive you and make you feel like God has forgotten about you; remember how he held you in the midnight hour. Remember how he didn’t let you slip and tip even when you wanted to. Remember how he kept you from getting diseases and illnesses from being with the wrong people.

Before you let go, let God. Let God work a miracle in your life, in his time. Let God work the situation out, in his time. Let God fight the enemy for you, in his time. Don’t give up on God, because he never gives up on you.

Love

Love is an action word. When someone says I love you, there needs to be some action behind it. When Jesus said he loves us he died for us. Now that’s love.

Nowadays, when people say they love us; it comes with drama and headaches. That’s not love, that’s foolishness. To love someone means you take the bitter with the sweet. Never mind how they act, because you haven’t always been on your best behavior either. However, you love them unconditionally. I’m not saying you have to agree with everything they do, but you need to be there to pick them up when they fall, applaud them when they do good, know who they are when they fail, and share with them when they succeed.

We throw the word love around unconsciously, and don’t understand why people don’t believe us when we say it. It’s because our mouths say one thing and our actions say another. Stop telling people you love them if all you’re willing to bring to them is drama and foolishness. But if you’re willing to stick by them no matter what, then tell them I love you. I love you to life. I love you with agape love. I won’t do anything to harm you. I won’t always agree with you, but know I will always love you.

God Said He Wouldn’t Do It

God said he’ll never leave you nor forsake you
He said he won’t put more on you than you can bear
He said he is not a man that he should lie or repent
He said no weapon formed against you shall prosper
God said he will not be mocked
He said he won’t flood the earth again, next time it will be fire
God said he would let the enemy touch your things, family, friends and finances, but he won’t let the enemy touch your life

Today, take God at his word. Listen to him tell you what he will and what he won’t do in your life.

Why Not You

You applaud everyone else. You support everyone else’s success. So why don’t you feel like you deserve success of your own? Why don’t you feel like you don’t deserve to be blessed? Time and chance happens to us all. And maybe just maybe it’s your time now.

So, when God tells you now is the time for you to be blessed, you don’t need confirmation or a second opinion. When God tells you he’s moving you from the back to the front, you don’t need confirmation or a second opinion. When God tells you he’s been hiding you, and now it’s time to present you as his own, you don’t need confirmation or a second opinion. Quit seeking confirmation! You will miss your time, chance and blessing.

Think about the slap in the face you give God, when you don’t take him at his word the first time he says something. What more does he have to do to let you know he’s only looking out for you? You know you hear God telling you, NOW is your time. NOW I’ve called you forth. Let go of your fears and insecurities, and step out on the word of God.

You Don’t Even Know It

While you’re trying to figure it out, God has already worked it out, and you don’t even know it. You don’t know it because you’re too busy worrying, murmuring and complaining.

Have you ever stopped to think that everything that happens to you is a test? Whether it’s your marriage, children, job, finances, friends, the church etc…but you don’t even know it because you’re too busy listening to everyone else, instead if listening to God.

Did you know you only prolong the test with doubt and disobedience? Did you know the answers never change to the test? Did you know that no one can really give you the answers you’re looking for, you have to find it in the book?

No, you didn’t know it. Realize God has all the time in the world, but you don’t. You don’t have time to doubt, waste, or play. Instead of worrying about your situation, turn it over to God and pray only his word back to him, then stand back and watch him perform his word.
