You Don’t Know My Story

on December 28, 2014

Everyone has a story, that’s what gives them their testimony. However, everyone thinks their story is more important than the next persons story. That’s why when you go to church and sit next to the thieves who try to steal your praise, they think your story is irrelevant. Therefore, they want you to sit down and stop praising God.

The only difference between your story and the other persons story is, you decided to praise your way through your story. No matter how bad your story got, you trusted God. No matter how much you wanted to throw in the towel, you gave one more praise. It was that praise that allowed you to run on to see what the ends going to be.

And since your neighbor sitting on the row next to you don’t understand that, they don’t want you to praise. They don’t understand how you could trust God and your spouse has left you. They don’t understand, how you can praise God when the person you trained for the job is now your boss. They don’t understand, how you keep telling people of the goodness of God when you are barely making ends meet.

So, the next time you go to praise God and the thieves in church start looking at you; tell them, there’s a story behind my praise but I don’t have time to tell you. Then praise God like he’s already made a way. Praise God like he’s restored everything that the palmerworm, the cankerworm and the locust have eaten up. Praise God, like you’re living in the overflow. When you think about it, people really don’t need to know your story. All they need to know is that you have a charge to keep and a God to glorify.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
