Dealing with yourself is not always the easiest thing to do. In fact, many of us keep a lot of people around just so we don’t have to deal with ourselves. What do you do when you come face-to-face with your failures, successes, ups, downs, highs, lows, past and present? Looking over your own life can be overwhelming.
It can be so overwhelming, that you can be holding a conversation and not hear a word the other person has said. You can be looking at someone and don’t see a thing. You can go somewhere, and don’t realize how you got there. Situations and life have a way to make us look at ourselves and say; woe it’s me!
It’s me that starts the gossip. It’s me that spread lies in the church. It’s me that’s a liar, a fornicator, a whoremonger, a thief, a cheater; it’s me oh Lord! It takes us to become overwhelmed, so that we know it’s nobody but Jesus that lifted the heavy burdens. It’s nobody but Jesus that brought us out. It’s nobody but Jesus that snatched us out of hell’s grip.
When you think about it, it can be overwhelming.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
