Today, I took my grandson to get a haircut. Everything was going as planned, people were talking and I was watching the game on tv. All of a sudden, my grandson just started singing very loud, Lord you’re holy. I’m on the praise dance team and we’ve danced to this song and he fell in love with the song. So every now and then he will sing it when it comes to mind.
He didn’t care that we were in the barbershop, he sung that song until his soul was satisfied. Then he started talking back to his barber like nothing happened. How many of us will sing unto the Lord at any given point? No matter where we’re at, if the spirit moves us to sing until our souls are satisfied, will we? While he was singing, I never once told him to be quiet or told him to lower it down because we were in the barbershop. I was use to him doing it at home and this was the first time he did it in public.
Once again, my grandson made the scriptures come alive. God said if you be ashamed of me I’ll be ashamed of you. Well, we don’t have that problem over here in this household. Even if I wanted to be a closet Christian, my grandson would let the cat out of the bag. Now more than ever, the world needs to hear our song. So sing unto the Lord; not only until your soul is satisfied but until God is satisfied and says well done my good and faithful servant.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
