I have another book that will be coming out in 2015. This book has been difficult to write because it takes me out of my comfort zone. It’s a book of poems that God gave me. Nonetheless, I wrote them and I’ve tried them out on a few people and got some pretty good results back. Therefore, I will let you in on one of them. Please let me know what you think.
STRANGER
We don’t talk by day
But you want to creep by night
You don’t respond to my text by day
But you knock on my door at night
You see me in passing
And act as if you don’t know my name
Finally, we meet up, but I’m silent
You go to touch me and I pull away
You say what’s wrong
And I say
Momma told me never talk to strangers
And I yell to the top of my lungs
STRANGER! DANGER!
