Different Perspective

It’s ok to look at things from a different perspective. Because you didn’t come up with the idea doesn’t mean it won’t work.

Many of us don’t want to look at things from another’s perspective because of pride. We don’t want anyone else getting credit for the work. If we learn to put our pride aside, we could do some bigger and better things collectively as a whole.

Either we can take someone else’s perspective or we can take God’s. God’s ways are not our ways and neither is his thoughts our thoughts. So you know he’s coming from a totally different perspective, and his perspective is the only one that matters.

So stop trying to get the glory because all of the glory belongs to God.

Be Aware

Do you ever start your day saying;Lord, I’m going to be aware of other people and their hurts today? Are you ever on the lookout to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Sometimes, our sight can be so clouded, that we miss our opportunities too minister to someone else. We can be so caught up with laughing, shopping or thinking about our own problems; that we miss a hurting soul right in front of us.

Today, let’s make it a point to be aware. Be aware of someone else, be aware that someone needs us, be aware that our words could make or break someone.

Why

How many of us have ever asked The Lord, why? Why does so many things have to happen? Or, why me Lord?
Have we ever asked the question, why not me Lord?

There is nothing wrong with asking God why; just be prepared for the answer that he gives you. Many people may tell you that you can’t question God, but if you never question God, how will you ever get answers from him.

God doesn’t always answer our questions,why, the way we expect him to. Sometimes, he just tells us; my grace is sufficient.

No Comment

When people ask you something spiritual and you don’t know the answer, you don’t have to comment.

None of us know everything about God and how he chooses to work. We can do more damage to people by giving them the wrong answer concerning the things of God, than we can do if we just have no comment.

No comment, can stop you from looking like a fool. It can also stop you from having to answer to God for lying. And, when God demands an answer from you; no comment, will not work.

So, before you have to give an account to God for commenting on something you have no business or qualifications to comment on; say no comment and be quiet.

Unfamiliar Territory

Do you find yourself in unfamiliar territory? Unfamiliar territory can come in many different forms.

As I told you before, I travel all over the world, therefore, I am always in unfamiliar territory. Unfamiliar territory will make you change your habits and behaviors. It sometimes causes you to second guess how you think and what you believe.

For instance, some of us are living in the overflow of God’s blessings. This may seem like unfamiliar territory, since, we are so use to struggling. Now we may feel like we don’t deserve it or we may thinking crazy thoughts; like this is not going to last and we are waiting for something to happen.

It’s ok to be cautious when you are in unfamiliar territory but don’t be scared. No good thing will God withhold for you. Be grateful and thankful that God saw fit to have you placed in unfamiliar territory, so that you can see; mighty are the works of his hands.

Down The Same Road

I travel all over the world and to get to the airport I always take the same road. This can be both good and bad.

Good, because I know where the road leads. Bad, because I can become so familiar with the road, that I neglect to pay attention and I take it for granted.

This is also true with our relationship with God. It’s not a good thing to become familiar with the ways of God. When this happens, we begin to take him for granted. We begin to act like God better bless us. We begin to slack off in our prayers because we know a little bit about grace and mercy.

Sometimes, try taking a different road; you may just learn something new and experience a whole new way of thinking.

Problems

Who in the world doesn’t have problems. We all have problems; but our problems don’t give us the right to mistreat people, talk down to people or stop doing what God has called us to do.

If we start giving our problems to God we would be much happier. I’ve decided, my problems are no longer mine; there God’s. He can handle them anyway he sees fit. However long he wants to take, that’s up to him.

I have to focus on the job he has given me to do and I cannot focus on that job, if I’m always worried about my problems.

So, when life obstacles and problems start to arise, immediately; give it to God and keep it moving.

A Mother’s Love

A mother’s love is similar to Jesus’ love. She will go through hell to save her children. She will love them unconditionally; sometimes, when her children want to do things their way she’ll never say a mumbling word.

A mother’s love will except her children back with arms wide open; even after they’ve walked out rudely. She won’t say I told you so, but she will say let’s pick up the pieces.

A mother’s love won’t help you do wrong and will chastise you when you do wrong. Her love will reward you when you do right. She will make you feel like you are the only child she has even if you have siblings.

A mother’s love is what a child longs for and needs.

A Simple Life

Life doesn’t have to be so complicated, it can be simple. How do you make life simple; I’m glad you asked.

Let go of the dead weight, drama and confusion in your life. Start giving out pink slips and don’t give in. Also, stop trying to live like everybody else. Live the life you can afford with cash.

You see how simple your life is starting to get? Besides, when you have drama, confusion and a lifestyle you can’t afford; you have needless stress.

So do yourself a favor and simplify your life.

Details

Sometimes we can be so concerned with the details, that we miss what God is trying to tell us.

Does it really matter how God is going to bless us? All that matters is, he’s going to bless us. Do we really care how he’s going to provide for us? All that really matters is, he’s going to provide for us. Does it really matter how he’s going to heal our bodies and minds? All that really matters is, he’s going to heal our bodies and keep our minds in perfect peace.

Don’t get so caught up in the details that you will miss a blessing even if it smacks you in the face.
