Wait

Has God ever answered you with wait? He didn’t give you anything else to go on, no time frame, no reason, just wait.

While you are waiting what are you doing? Are you complaining? Are you working towards your goals? Have you forgotten about God because it seems as if he’s forgotten about you?

If God is telling you to wait, it’s because, he’s preparing you for something you can’t handle right now. So don’t complain, but take joy in the fact that God is willing to train you before he lets whatever you want destroy you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Down But Not Out

Many of us are going through situations and we feel like these situations are literally going to take us out. We have allowed our situations to get us down, and if we are not careful, we could fall into depression, isolation, and fear.

All of us will have a time in our lives where we get down; however, it would be a shame to count us out.

When you find yourself at a low point, make sure you stay connected to God and the church. This will help you from being knocked out by the enemy.

Just keep telling yourself I’m down but I’m not out.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Obstacles On the Journey

No matter where our journey’s take us in life we can be sure of this one thing; we will surely have to face some obstacles.

The obstacles are not the problem, it’s how we handle the obstacles. It’s how we show our maturity level when obstacles arise.

If you want to show someone just how immature and childish you are, let them be around you when an obstacle shows up in your life.

Be ready for the journey to not always go as planned. Be flexible, be patient and most of all, still be and act like you are a child of God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

The Mirror

How many of us really take a good look in the mirror? Once we began to take a hard long look at ourselves the mirror will start to expose.

It will expose our pimples and dimples, it will expose our big or small foreheads, thick or thin eyebrows, blotches in our skin, and all of our imperfections.

Sadly, many of us do not take a long look in the mirror but are so quick to point out other people flaws. We fail to realize that something is wrong with us and if the mirror shows us any differently, we think think the mirror is a lie.

The mirror doesn’t lie and if we be honest with ourselves; we will thank God that the mirror tells us what our friends and family won’t, that is the truth.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

God Specializes

Whenever something goes wrong in our bodies or our vehicles we want someone to help us who knows what they are doing. When my heart was bad, I didn’t go to a podiatrist I went to a cardiologist and not just any cardiologist. I went to the top ranked cardiologist in the state. When my vehicle breaks down, I just don’t go to any mechanic I go back to Ford since they specialize in Ford vehicles.

God specializes too! The thing about God is that he has multiple specialties and when you go to him, he doesn’t hand you off to anyone else. Whatever you need from him, he’s got it. He specializes in healing, not just physical but spiritual too. He specializes in making ways out of no way. He specializes in feeding the whole family reunion with little food. He specializes in given hope when all hope is gone. He specializes I’m saving souls when others say just let them die.

It doesn’t matter what you need, call on God and watch him give you the special of the day.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

A True Friend

Do you consider yourself a true friend? Are you willing to tell your friends the truth at the risk of ruining the relationship?

Yesterday I had a conversation with my friend about his salvation. I didn’t know how he was going to take it, although we have been friends for years and he knows I’m a preacher. However, the burning feeling I had to talk to him about it wouldn’t let me hold my peace. After all, he is in a war zone and I would be remiss to be his friend and never talk about having a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jesus is a true friend, he doesn’t mind telling us the truth in love to keep us out of hell. Don’t get mad when Jesus tells you the truth about yourself or if you are fortunate enough to have a friend tell you the truth about yourself.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Tried Calling

Have you ever tried calling someone in an emergency situation and their line was either busy or there phone was dead? Did you become frustrated and think to yourself their never available when you need them? Did you try calling someone else when you couldn’t get the person you really wanted only to find them unavailable too?

Does it ever dawn on us to call on Jesus first? His line is always open, he doesn’t have dropped calls and he doesn’t interrupt us when we talk to him.

Now he may not respond to us right away but he heard us. He may not give us the answer we are looking for, but he does give an answer. We may become frustrated with him when he put’s us on hold, but it would be a mistake for us to hang up on him.

How many times has God tried calling us and we were too busy or put him on hold? When was the last time we hung up on God?

God should never be the last person we call; he should always be first, and we shouldn’t always be the last one to answer his call, we should be first.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Return To Sender

Do we ever ask ourselves is God really happy with our praise and worship? Are we giving God polluted praise and worship?

Never should we want to hear God say return to sender when it comes to our praise and worship. Never should we want to hear God say keep that praise and worship to yourself because I don’t want it, it’s polluted.

In order for us to never hear return to sender, we need to repent. Just come clean with God so he can say he’s well pleased.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Seek God’s Face

When we seek God’s face we are saying we want to be in his presence. So many times we only seek his hand. Lord what can you give me this time?

When we get in the presence of God, sometimes it makes up weep because we realize just how much he loves us.

He loves us so much that he died for us. He forgives us of our sins. Even when we cheat on him, he still takes us back. In God’s presence we forget about everything and everybody. It makes us want to cater to him. We stop asking him for things and we begin to worship him in spirit and truth.

When was the last time you sought the face of God instead of the hand of God? Today, make a commitment to God and yourself that you will seek his face more than you seek his hand.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Stop Taking The Wrong Advice

You cannot take the wrong advice and expect to make the right decision. Look at what happened to Adam and Eve when Eve took the wrong advice from the wrong person, they made the wrong decision.

It doesn’t matter if the advice is coming from your family or friends; if it’s wrong the results will be the same.

There is this book called the bible and it has tons of advice that really works. All we have to do is apply it to every situation in our lives.

So, before you go seeking advice from the wrong person check out the bible and see what advice God has for you.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
