Jesus I’ll Never Forget

We use to sing a song that said Jesus I’ll never forget what you’ve done for me; Jesus I’ll never forget how you set me free; Jesus I’ll never forget, no never.

As I think of that song, I see where a lot of us have forgotten what Jesus has done for us because we constantly complain.

I see where a lot of us have forgotten that we’ve been set free because we love to stay in bondage.

We’ve forgotten that Jesus died for our sins so that we will have the right to salvation.

Let’s make good on our promise that Jesus we won’t forget and let’s pray continually that Jesus will always put us in remembrance of what he has done for us; so that we stop straying from his word and his way.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Give Your All

No matter how bad you dislike your job give it your all, don’t do it half way.

No matter how bad you dislike your spouse, continue to give the marriage your all even if you feel it’s useless.

No matter how bad you hate school, give it your all. Something good is bound to come out of it.

See God doesn’t always like our behavior, he doesn’t like the way we treat him at times, he doesn’t like the fact that we give him lip service instead of heart service; yet he gave us his all and continues to give us his all.

In actuality, even when we give it our all we still haven’t given enough.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Simple

Remember when life was simple and we didn’t have too many worries? Now life is more complicated than ever.

Living in a foreign country makes me realize that I can be happy with the simple life.

I’ve realized that I don’t have to have the fancy cars, big house or 100 pair of shoes. I don’t have to keep up with the Jones’.

When I don’t keep up with the Jones’ I find my bank account fat and I don’t have to wait until tax season to have money.

When I decide to live the simple life I can go to church, praise & worship God and not be in competition with my fellow brother and sister.

When we lived the simple life, people use to just break up and go there separate ways; no harm no foul. Now someone has to be beat up or die before they leave.

When we lived the simple life, walking or riding the bus was just fine. Now we have to have rims that cost more than the car.

I’m determined to keep my life as simple as possible and live by God’s standards instead of societies standards.

Are you ready to live the simple life again or are you content with a complicated life? Only you can answer this and only you can decide to do something about it.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

This Is Not The Time

Have you been questioning your faith and are ready to throw in the towel? This is not the time!

Have you been thinking about turning your back on God because he seems to not be listening or answering your prayers? This is not the time!

Have you stopped going to church because you are going through something? This is not the time!

Whatever it is that life has handed you and you don’t like it, don’t throw in the towel, don’t leave God, and continue to surround yourself with the saints.

Don’t give up on God because he won’t give up on you. He’s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Living In The Overflow

What does overflow blessings look like to you? Is it your bills being paid, food on the table, a new car, a new house or perhaps a lot of money?

Or is it, being able to hear the voice of God and following him?

Whatever you consider your overflow blessing to be; always thank and praise God for it. Don’t look down at anyone else because their not living in their overflow yet, for The Lord giveth and The Lord taketh away.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Imagine

Imagine what would happen if we really put our trust in God instead of people.

Imagine what victory we would walk in if we gave God all of our battles to fight.

Imagine the authority we would have if we really treated God like our Father.

Imagine the blessings we would have if we gave our tithes and offerings before we did anything else with our check.

Imagine the real friends we would have if we showed ourselves friendly.

Imagine the peace we would have if we only forgave one another quickly.

We can make this a reality if we put into practice what we imagine.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Have No Fear

What worries you the most to the point it paralyzes you with fear? Job said the thing he feared the most came upon him.

We have to learn how to turn all of our worries, burdens and fears over to The Lord. No matter what it is, give it to God.

When those fears come we have to say God here you go you handle it; it’s your problem now and walk away from it.

It’s easier said than done but if you start practicing it it will become easier to let all of those fears go.

Remember God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind.

Fear and a sound mind don’t work well together.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Being A Blessing To Someone Else

Often times when we pray we ask The Lord to bless us. Do we ever ask God fervently to help us be a blessing to someone else?

Sometimes being a blessing to someone else means that you have to go without, you have to forsake what you want to give to the other person.

Mind you, God is not just going to have you bless people that only like you. Sometimes he will tell you to be a blessing to someone who doesn’t even care for you.

It’s in these moments you really learn that obedience is better than sacrifice and you learn it’s not always about you but sometimes it’s about someone else.

Just as hard as we pray for God to bless us, let’s pray even harder that God helps us to be a blessing to someone else whether they like us or not.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Quality Time

How many of us get to spend real quality time with our family?

Many times I feel like I’m always on the go and pressed for time. Well today I got to spend some real quality time with my aunt. We went to our favorite store, I cooked us dinner and I even got her to go bike riding with me.

Do you consider Jesus as part of your family? If so, how much quality time are you spending with him? Are you always pressed for time when it comes to prayer or reading your word?

Today, fine some time and spend some quality time with Jesus.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

In A Moments Notice

Most of the time when I call my kids I need them in a moments notice. Their day being going well; then here I come calling, telling them to meet me somewhere or something totally unexpected.

What do we do when God needs us in a moments notice? Do we say Lord let me pray about it? Or do we say Lord get back with me?

We have to be ready at a moments notice for God to use us. We have to be expecting to be used by The Lord. What is the use of praying, fasting and reading the word if we don’t have a chance to use what God has given us.

Ask yourself, will you be ready in a moments notice to answer the call of God.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
