There Is No Failure In God

on May 19, 2014

Just because things have not worked out the way we thought they should, doesn’t mean God is a failure.

We may have prayed for that loved one to survive and yet they died, that doesn’t mean that God is a failure.

We may have been fired from a job, that doesn’t mean that God is a failure.

We may have gotten a divorced and we really wanted the marriage, that doesn’t mean God is a failure.

Let’s look at ourselves for a second. How did we act in the marriage? Were we unbearable to live with or too controlling? Perhaps we never showed respect to the other person and drove them away. So is the failure in us or in God?

How about our attitude on the job; did we always complain how we hated our job and came to work late? Perhaps we took too long of a break and took long executive lunches and wasn’t productive at work. I ask again, who’s the failure; us or God.

Although we are saved we are expected to act like our father. We are to work as if we are working for The Lord. Husbands are to Love their wives as Christ loved the church and women are supposed to submit to their husbands.

Christ told men to love because they know how to submit to authority but they don’t know how to love. He told women to submit because they know how to love but society has told them they can do it all by themselves. Submitting to your spouse only means that you are submitting to the mission God has your husband on.

See there is no failure in God, but there is in man.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
