Are You Prepared For The Storm

We know that storms are coming, so what are we doing to prepare for them? Do we have a safety plan? Where is our shelter?

Before the storm hits are you spending time with God? Does he know your voice when everything is going well? Have you included God in your safety plan?

Just in case you need to know what you should include in your safety plan here are a few things:

Water: Jesus is living water
Flashlight: Jesus is the light of the world
Food: man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God.

These few things will help keep you safe when the storms of life come to disturb your spirit, but you have to put them into action.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

How Much Do You Sacrifice

We’ve all told someone how much we’ve sacrificed for them. How much money, time and effort we’ve spent on them only for them not to appreciate the things we do for them.

Well God sacrificed his only son for our salvation and yet we don’t appreciate it. We don’t appreciate his love, his grace and mercy, or nothing he does for us.

Yet we continue to use him as an ATM, treat him like a ginny in the bottle, then dismiss him when we have our temporary satisfaction.

So, see we haven’t sacrificed anything for anybody. When we’re ready to give our life so that someone else can live then we will have the right to talk about how much we’ve sacrificed. Until then let’s thank God for giving us such a great gift, SALVATION!

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

When You Pray

When you pray, do you pray believing that God hears you and will answer your prayer or do you pray doubting?

No matter what you are praying for, go before God boldly and trust that he will answer.

Now the answer will not always be yes. It can be yes, no, wait or not right now. If your prayers are not answered the way you would like for them to be answered, don’t get mad because God knows best.

Just thank God that you know you can get a prayer through.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Ungrateful Children

Do any of us have ungrateful children that get on our last nerves? Do we ever feel like giving up on them and stop wasting our time and money on them?

Have we ever thought that we are God’s ungrateful children? We ask him for things, we lie on him, we act like we don’t know him at times and yet we feel like he better bless us. Then whenever we go back to him we act like we’ve done nothing wrong.

Yet God doesn’t feel like giving up on us, in fact, he extends grace to us. No matter how ungrateful our children are, we should still love them and provide them with guidance and most importantly place them in God’s hands.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Do You Really Want Jesus In The Church

When we are at church we are always saying Jesus we need you in the church. Jesus send your spirit now. Jesus we can’t make it without you. Stop by here Lord.

While reading my bible I see when Jesus went into the church he went off and started flipping tables over and messing it up. He told the people that they turned the house of prayer into a den of thieves because they turned the church into a market place.

So with all the foolishness we have going on in the church, I ask you, do you really want Jesus in the church?

When Jesus comes to church he sets it in order. Are you ready to be set in order or do you just like saying come by here Lord?

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Change Is Coming

Ready or not change is coming. Whether it’s in your spirit, your job, your house etc…, there will be change.

Many people don’t like change and fight against it because they are afraid of the unknown. However, there are some people who welcome change and can’t wait for it to happen.

Then there are those people who know a change needs to happen in their relationships, jobs, finances, etc…, but they refuse to do anything about and wonder why they don’t see any progress.

Whatever your feelings are about change get ready for it, just like time, change comes whether you want it or not.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Did God Call You or Man Call You

Who called you to work in ministry? I don’t mean just preaching, I mean whatever you do in ministry. Did God speak to you directly or did someone tell you that you look like a preacher, usher, armor bearer, deacon, trustee etc….?

If man called you into ministry then you are in a dangerous position because you are ministering off of talent and eventually you will hurt yourself and the people you minister too.

If God called you into ministry then he will anoint you for the ministry so that you will be effective in saving souls for the kingdom.

If God called you then stick with it but if man called you please sit down before someone gets hurt.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

I Did That To Jesus

When you read the bible in the book of Isaiah and it talks about how Jesus didn’t even look good to the eyes; how he was dirty, not looking like a king or savior , do you ever tell yourself I did that to Jesus?

Do you ever think about how he did nothing wrong but yet got beat and tortured? And you told yourself, I did that to Jesus.

When people don’t think twice about Jesus and look on him as scum, do you ever think to yourself I did that to Jesus?

When I think about Jesus dying for my sins without regard to his own welfare, my heart sinks because yes, I did that to Jesus.

What have you done to Jesus that makes you say Lord forgive me for I have sinned against thee and thee alone.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

A Premeditated Praise

How many of us think about the praise were going to give God? Do we recount it over and over in our minds?

When something is premeditated it is thought out carefully. A plan is put into action to see it come to pass.

Well when I look back over my life and I think things over I began to plan out my praise. My plan is quite simple, in fact it will get me caught. See every time I here the name Jesus I’m going to praise him, no matter where I’m at, morning, noon or night.

Every time I think about how it could have been me, I’m going to praise him.

Every time the phone rings and it’s not the coroner on the other end saying we need you to come and identify a body, I’m going to praise him.

When you’re up on charges for something that was premeditated you’re liable to be found guilty. Now when you premeditate something, your sentence is much harder because they say you thought long and hard about what you were going to do

Well the prosecutor will try to give you a plea deal before you go before a judge, but in this case don’t take the plea. Don’t care if you’re found guilty. This is one sentence you will want to serve.

I know you’re saying you get the death penalty for premeditation. Well I’m here to tell you to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord.

Are you willing to be found guilty of a premeditated praise or are you going to take the plea deal?

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Adjusting

Do you find yourself always having to adjust to new rules, new lifestyles and a new way of doing things? Adjusting or changing doesn’t always feel good in fact, it makes you feel like you don’t know what you are doing.

I told you yesterday I went from one country to another country and now I find myself adjusting. I literally have to focus extra hard while driving because I’m use to driving on the left side of the road and here people drive on the right side. When I should be turning on my blinker I’m turning on the windshield wiper. I feel like I’m in drivers-ed.

It’s the same way on this Christian journey. As we inventory our lives we find ourselves adjusting. We are adjusting to the new way of life that God has for us. Truthfully, it doesn’t always feel comfortable but we know if we make those certain adjustments that God is calling for, then it will make our lives much easier.

Whatever adjustments you have to make, make them without mumbling and complaining because God wouldn’t have told you to do it if it wasn’t necessary.

Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.
